I lived in SLO for a while. In Nipomo is a restaurant called Jocko's. The little piquinto beans we called Jocko beans. It is a real art to grill a Tri-tip. On special occasions we would get a five pound Fillet Mignon and cook that up. Wow was that good!

Wrong bread! for it to be real you got to use grilled sour dough bread, San Luis is the best, my dad Jack was the Tri-Tip King and don't forget to soak that oak....man I miss the Central Coast!
