@Mephiles602 American kids learn it with these lyrics, and are later surprised to hear to original words. Of course, only those American kids who bother to focus on the fact that there are other countries.
@Mephiles602 It is to that tune! But with these words it is known as My Country 'Tis of Thee. Same tune...I think early Americans copied the tune to write this song :o)
@Mephiles602 "God save the Queen"(or King) was written first by an unknown composer in the 1700s. It has been sung in Commonweath nations for centuries. Samuel Francis Smith wrote the alternative lyrics to the tune in 1831. Both songs are beautiful.
What makes me appreciate this video more so is the fact this is actual singing and no auto tune. The voices and singers are natural and have human vocals.
I liked this video but would give it a 9.5 out of 10 rating. If she would have said "limited" central government instead of "strong" it would have been a 10 out of 10. Love the singing, love Disney, Love the video!
The lady in the orange who was talking was our teacher at the Disney Choral Workshop! We sang two songs from the lion king and recorded sound effects. She was really fun!
I'm a full grown 30yr old man (Seasonal Castmember) and I get teary eyed every time I see them sin, especially during Christmas time. The acoustics in that dome they sing under are amazing.
has anyone ever noticed that the tune to this song is almost identical to the british national anthem?

As lovely as it is, isn't that the tune to our "God Save The Queen". I've never heard it sung with those lyrics.

The person who didn't like it is a complete idiot. Their voices blended and harmonized perfectly and they did not mess up, not a single time.
