if this turns out to be anything like a Redbox machine, it will now take half an hour to wait for the person in front of you to click on every single option before deciding what they want. Not to mention the people that will have no idea how to even work the stupid thing. Can they keep the old soda machines for the technically impaired? I sure hope the franchises that buy these things buy more than one.
If it doesn't have Dr Pepper and WL Weller (the *only* way I'll drink that swill Coca-cola),I have as much use for that machine as I do his cheap mouse pad.

Yea this is to advanced for america, look at our phones they are well behind those of the asian nations. Hand an ordinary iphone user a phone from korea... he'd be lost in to seconds because the phone wasnt dumbed down to his level. Much like this soda machine, take an iphone user and an android user see who can master this machine. I dont hate iphone users or iphone, its a great piece of hardware i just think americans have lost the will to go outside their comfort level. Damn this is long
@SHINJITSUnoRAVEN The reason it varies is that DQ stores are franchises, meaning they are owned and operated by individuals and groups and not the DQ corporation. Each franchise has the right and ability to negotiate and sell either Coke or Pepsi. Each store will then have an individual contract with Coke or Pepsi.
saw this on some show on travel channel or something a couple of years ago as the coke machine of the future...at the time they had one in the atlanta headquarters. NEAT idea! can't wait to see one...but please...DQ guy...stop with all the crazy hand motions LOL
Kinda cool. I can see it causing problems though. You'll get technologically challenged people that will slow down service at the counter because employees will have to hep customers use the machine. Look at how many people, after all this time, hold up lines because using their debit card is a major challenge. When I am out shopping I still stop to help help people use ATM machines. ATM's have been around for how many years now?
Who uses a mouse anymore..

# of times he used distracting "karate-chop-for-punctuation" w/ left hand: at least 94.
# of times he mentioned "over 100" brands featured: at least 3, plus once in the description.
# of times he mentioned where we could actually find a Coca-Cola Freestyle® machine: 0.
# of minutes wasted: at least 3.

They are okay, nice idea, but creates a bottleneck, long lines and long wait!
I always wind up behind someone trying to create some deadly mix, changing their mind, over and over and over and over again.
