That´s wonderful - so is the whole of the album "One for the road" which never was rereleased on CD. So many beautiful songs on that one. Also there seems to be no DVD of Ronnie. Hard to believe but his mobile studio still exists and is owned my Mark St. John (Pretty Things). I was in this last year.
Ronnie Lane is an unheralded treasure, and to be honest,it is probably for the best. The only people that know about Ronnie are the ones who truly appreciate him.
it's a fact that ronnie lane brings out the good in people, reading the comments its nice to see. true he does sing n write from the heart, 'i've helped my friends'.
n he kept true himself n what he believed in. great guy
Magic. A very rare and very special video. I'll never forget listening to' Ogdens' for the first time. It was the first album that really shook me and Ronnie was the life and soul of every band he was ever in. A true genius.
Amen desy, Ronnie (Lane) truly was the heart and soul of the "Small Faces" as well as the "Faces" ...Rod and Woody were great but Plonk held it all together, he was the man indeed!!
Beautiful man singing beautiful ROCK and Roll, always thoughtful always subtle, always better than most. Insightful and , sorry Ronnie and Ian, too good for the Faces
Nothing but great comments for the greatest of songwriter/performers and lover of life that he truly was...bless ya Ronnie, you made our lives so much the better!
How brilliant, I was lucky enough to see Ronnie and the Band a few times, and had the albums. The best thing about seeing all these vids, is that the band always seem to be enjoying themselves. Greatly respected, and sadly missed - Ronnie's music is timeless.
I couldn't agree more. Listening to Small Faces records as a teenager was a life changing experience for me. I didn't know music could be so good. I think he's one of the best songwriters and bass players ever.
You take the very thoughts from me too, Ronnie was just incredible and will never be forgotten, his music so real, so earthy and valid, as you put it so well a 'TOP MAN'
It does me to, Ronnie was something else he really was. I was so pleased to attend his memorial concert at the RAH was was so fitting to the great man.
Raised to 'classic'.

It's very sad. 1976. I would not have known about Ronnie Lane then. I was too young.

Let's face it - during the Slim Chance/Rough Mix years, Ronnie was making better music than either Rod or Woody.

Ronnie was in a league all his own and Slim Chance was pure talent. He chose his playmates well.
