Das Stück wurde übrigens nicht von Richard Clayderman, sondern von Paul de Senneville geschrieben;Adeline ist der Name seiner Tochter.

Das Stück begründete jedoch die Karriere von Richard Clayderman, der es als erster spielte und auf Tonträgern veröffentlichte. Es wurde ein Millionen-Erfolg.

Passei minha adolescência toda escutando Richard Clayderman nas fitas cassetes ou mesmo em vinil. Eu amava seu toque, é um toque puro e limpo, bom de se ouvir e por conseguinte começou quando uma tia próxima precisou de uns trocados e ela sabia que eu guardava minha mesada e arrematei 12 fitas cassetes, mas o mundo e as mudanças levaram minhas fitinhas, hoje eu só tenho uma delas, tocando esta linda música e mais 11. ¡Excelente tema! Esta es la versión que más me gusta. No es la interpretada por Clayderman sino por René Clermont. La tengo en un disco de vinilo de hace más de 30 años. Tiene un ritmo más constante y equilibrado para mi gusto. Aunque no encontré prácticamente información sobre Clermont en internet. Los compositores del tema son Paul de Senneville y Olivier Toussaint.
