  • Good, I like that you share this video Designed and built a 4WD robotic ATV with robotic arm, IR sensors, GP2D12 range sensor and proximity sensors for environment sensing, I wish success always

  • Nice Video Designed and built a 4WD robotic ATV with robotic arm, IR sensors, GP2D12 range sensor and proximity sensors for environment sensing That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video From Your Designed and built a 4WD robotic ATV with robotic arm, IR sensors, GP2D12 range sensor and proximity sensors for environment sensing.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Designed and built a 4WD robotic ATV with robotic arm, IR sensors, GP2D12 range sensor and proximity sensors for environment sensing.

  • Does the wheels use 4 DC motors?

  • @CognitiveNetwork Yeah. There're 4 DC gear motors.

  • how the robotic arm pick the object ?what sensor and what program that you used? caused we need it in our research study thank in advance,

hope you'll answer my question by sending in this e-mail kaunti_yan@yahoo.com ^_^

  • I am planning also to get a robotic arm onto my robot

  • oh man, here in Brazil everything about robotics are so expensive

  • Comment removed

  • do the arm use air supply?

  • @KEONG9603 Nope. Servo motion control only. No pneumatics.

  • which motors do you used?from where do you purchase? what is the speed of robot?

  • @swapnil17may - you can use any planetary or spur gear motors with up to 2kgcm force, which is sufficient. the particular ones used in this robot were from Tamiya.

  • Thanks, What about battery? which battery?

  • @swapnil17may kindly send me ur questions via email: aaqilkhan@gmail.com. i can respond there.

  • can i know from where did you buy those wheels/tyres ?

  • Nice Car, But Does It Blend?...

  • @xxKILLEROJRCxx - it has titanium alloy components. I dont think blendtec will be able to blend this !

  • Do you know how well the robot runs on other surfaces than tiles, for example on grass? We have a 4-wheels robots that must move autonomously in dynamic outside environment and we tend to have problems on grass because there is to much traction/friction but it does well inside or on asphalt.

  • isn't the point to make one so that the camera is hidden and you can spy on people?

    im not trolling kust asking

  • nice project! but why not let's see it move

  • This is cool. But I need to see proof of everything running together at the same time. Otherwise well...

  • Does it work? It just kinda sat there while ONTZ ONTZ ONTZ music played.

  • @mhoyer01 - why would i put all that electronics into a rover that would just sit there?

  • @aaqilkhan I'm interested in the implementation. Does it use the IR sensors for reactive control? This thing could be really fun if it had a video feed to the operator.

  • @aaqilkhan

    to make it look cool?

  • @aaqilkhan because you couldn't write the code for it ? (not saying this is the case but it would have been a logical answer to the question :P).... Jokes a side VERY nice build man!

  • great, what did you study, robotics? And how do you manufacture your metal parts?

  • name of this song please..?

    this song is fucking scary!

  • I love your project, It’ very good...How much torque does one of them motors have?

  • Sir I am a final year Electronics student pursuing my degree of B.E. I have planned to make a robotic arm for my final year project. I saw your work and was truly amazed.I know you must be very busy with your work. But it would be a favour if you can guide me as in how to go on sequentially to implement this project.I have searched a lot about the project but too many ideas and too many links are doing nothing more than confusing me rather.

  • What is the software used in the design and test

  • Awesome job Sir.I request your guidance for me to make this project for my B.E.Thank you.

  • nice project make the green lights to white and add police blinking lights

    then it LOOKS AWESOME

  • what program did you use to design it?

  • nice idea with underlights... i came up with the same ideea but I want them to blink... i use 3x2 bright blue leds... with 150ohm rezistor for 2 leds... 5V is comming... by the way how to blink those leds? like the blinking neons under a car? :| can you help? I'm thinking about a tranzistor... but dunno anything

  • Very nice! I made a 6 wheeled but almost exactl same look otherwise. Could you describe how you physically bent/cut/formed your sheet metal? Specifically, what tools you used?

My frame is made from 1/4in flat stock. I cnc milled the sides to same shape as yours. I then used 5 cross bars. I covered this frame in sheet metal. I could probably stand on it. Your is simpler and much lighter though, one sheet cut and bend and done!

  • i got a friend of mine to build the sheet metal part from my drawings. i did all the electronics & software myself. do u have a link to your 6-wheeled robot? would love to see urs.

  • making your own PCB at home is really easy, you should try it

  • How, seems way to complicated for me.

  • watch?v=urv6jArKp6M

more less the method i use, the process is poorly shown (like the iron part, there's a lot more to it than just setting it to highest temperature) so you should find a professional guide on the web, also you should use B327 to remove the copper, it's transparent and easier to clean from clothing.

  • Does this only work with a LaserJet Printer? I have a InkJet.

  • what software u use to make that plz??

  • When you're a robotics enthusiast like I am, you'd think this is... SO AWESOME!!!!!!

  • UNDERGLOW!

  • i built one sort of like this but my servos keep burning up and then just sort of explode

  • Nice project! Every under desing, perfect! Saludos desde Mexico!

  • Did u program the robot but if u did i would be amazed.

  • Hey men i like a lot your designe. i'll like thant you send me the planes of designe by mail. thanks a lot.

  • hey can u sent me the planes of design...i realy like to see it if you dont mind

  • inventgeek(dot)com

  • which wireless UART is it and what is the range.

  • How do you program it-I'm just starting out.

  • What microcontroller did you use?

  • Microcontroller = PIC16F877A

  • nice job. would you please upload its circuit board.

  • nice job! i want to design my first rover. and yours looks similar to what i had in mind. I am just starting out, do you have any robotics website you could recommend?

    thanks

  • Try society of robots. Very well designed website for robotics enthusiasts. Highly reccommended.

  • thanks a lot!

    it's an awesome site indeed.

  • And as an other member, I can say you will

get all the help you can get...

  • is it a kit?

  • Its not a kit. I designed and built the rover myself.

  • oh.. ok cool!!

  • where did you get or buy the parts? I mean all. pls reply.

  • very nice

  • dude... sweeet

  • Hey, whats the program you are using to design your Rover?

  • The rover and robotic arm were designed using a trial version of Solidworks.

  • Does it Work?

  • Elegant.

  • sweet desighn!

  • I'm jealous of the chasis :) I need to get into Solidworks soon :) Please check out my videos...
