21 is a respectable number, particularly for your first go-around. Most of the "points" are accumulated in the dinner conversation. Answers are supposed to be neutral. Break-taking and question asking is encouraged. Points from both dinner and soldier-talking are tabulated and a series of concessions are made by the empire, and also fantabulous prizes!

I'm playing an emulated re-translation of this game, and, I gotta say that this official translation seems a bit strange, in comparison.... They could have used a smaller font to avoid abbreviating items and such.

But, some things which I've noticed are different include:

Magicite is called Magirock, Magitek is called Majick.

Terra is named Tina, along with Sabin as Macias, (nicknamed Mash in-game) Cyan is Cayenne, (yep, like the pepper!) etc. There also appears to be stuff left uncensored.

@GalekC Remember that this was translated within a month. On top of that, English takes more characters to make similar sounds in Japanese. Due to time constraints and hardware limitations, they did what they could.

With regards to the soldiers. You get points from talking with them. That adds with how well you do during the banquet. You can look online for how the scoring system works. I think you just missed a Tintabar (relic) and a Charm Bangle (relic).

I'm really enjoying this LP so far! It is so fun to see this game done blind.

You got three out of the five possible rewards - not bad, considering you never playing the game before. I think you missed someone in a room behind the last room you searched and in another room you missed, seen at 11:21.

The treasure in the "Imperial base to the east" is in the room where you wanted to break down the locked door in the basement a few episodes ago. :)

and you migth want to redo the banquet scene and talk to all 24 soldiers and say this during the banquet: hometowns, kefka jailed, inexcusable, one of us,went too far and take the rest cid suggest and talk to the guards and emperor the war is over
