doesn't the rear wheel touch the fender when the suspension is pressed? i mean ti seem like the fender is attached to the steady part of the bike and not in the moving suspension "fork"... (sry about my english)

dont' put spring seat, it will look funny. just check out other nighster that have spring seat, they look so high off the frame its fugly. yours look very nice as is.

nice bike man, but im havin some trouble over here. I got my solid sturts on and chopped the fender at the ECM and drilled out that hole to 5/8ths but here is where i run into trouble. When i mount the hole i drilled out to the lip where the seat post goes, 1, the other hole doesnt stick out far enough to mount the seat and 2. where on the fender do you mount the fender to the struts. I could really use your help man. thanks

how hard was it to chop the rear fender yourself?

very easy bro im know jesse james... just remove the fender and were the hole that the ECU fits in take a hack saw chop it in two you have two drill a few hole to get it to mount right just lay it on the tire and find some good points

disconnect the Ecu and feed through the frame and remove the side cover and ziptie it back on

take it off an right were the ecu is and chop it and bolt it back on an chop the struts

its an 08 i bought a spring seat of ebay drilled some holes and mounted its alot simpler then it looks ill post a how to video pretty soon

I'm a big fan of the bobber-style myself. Post a video with the spring seat on when you get a chance. Been thinking about putting on a springer as well to give it that retro-look. What fuel management system are you using? What about the high-flow air cleaner? Do you think the troublemakers sound better (or are they similar) to the V & H? What's the mileage on a full tank?

No fuel mangement sytem or cleaner the troublemakers sound amazing it raw deep sound the Short shots just dont compare i get about 160 on a tank

This is a nice example . My ? is the plug that connects to the coil only has a couple of inches, did you have to peel back where it joins the harness to get you more length??

mine has broken on both sides about an inch from thte bolt holes, i welded it back together once, i've got zip ties holding it together right now. trying to come up with a solution. i'll let you know if i figure somethin out
