The world has turned many times sence this song came out and nothing, northing has changed. Grandmasterflash told it like it was, To me, this is one of their best songs. It nevered got the air play for a reason. People wanted and still want to make you and I beleave that this stuff they sung about never happens and want us to close our ears and eyes to whats real.
This track and the rappers idea through it's lyrics is a prime example why Hip-Hop was not allowed to continue.
Hiphop was 'killed' by secret societies that rule to this day.
These people did not like the idea of the hip-hop genre, which LYRICALLY would inevitably lead to exposing truth to the masses and the demise of these society's.
Quite simply, If hip-hop still thrived today, alot of people would still be alive and the world would be a better place. God help us.
