Real snipers don't aim at the head they aim center mass. Long range sniping you want to aim center mass because it's a bigger target because just a Lil wind can move the bullet a few inches and then you miss.

I don't see why people say hardcore is easy mode. Sure, it's easier to snipe people because almost all shots from a bolt action are 1 shot kill, but at the same time, it's also easier to die in general. instead of requiring 4-5 shots from an assault rifle, most of the time it takes about 2 or 3. There are times when you turn a corner and almost immediately die. There's also no health regen, which means you actually have to rely on medics, instead of proning in a stupid dark corner.

@MyrDestruction as a matter of fact, it is WAY easier for snipers to play in hardcore than in regular mode. not needing headshots makes gameplay WAY easier for snipers in hardcore. and if you think about it, it's not like snipers are taking consistent suppressive fire anyway, so it's hardly like you're being shot at more. it's not complete easymode (mostly because of the reasons you listed) but the fact is that it's still WAY easier for snipers.

@spazzyman3 I agree, it is way easier for snipers. But in real life, snipers tend to engage over a much greater distance than is in the game. If a sniper somehow ended up that close, he would wreck havoc too. Plus, there's a reason Dice/EA added in scope glint to this game. It's so people can't hide behind obscure rocks and snipe without fear of detection. That's also why, if someone is wrecking your team as a sniper, you just countersnipe. Same goes for mortars.

@MyrDestruction I won't say "hardcore is easy" it's just that you don't really have to learn how to master a weapon (recoil,etc...) because the target as less health and it's the thing that I love in "normal" mode. It's a total other way to play, both can create a fun and enternaining gameplay :)

Sure, you don't really have to master the recoil patterns so much because a few shots will kill someone, but I prefer hardcore for one main reason, which stems from the fact that I play battlefield with a clan. We use mumble and we tend to dominate games where we're stacked against pubs because hardcore tends to involve a lot more strategy (that's not to say that softcore doesn't) and we communicate well. Just rushing in is suicide.

Hey, I got a good idea. Awesome editing by the way! Can you shoot through glass without it impacting your shot aim or impact. If you shoot through a window, example would be to not make the noise by smashing it, in Metro or while in a building or you can imagine the other are's like Sienne down by B in the storefronts where you can look up the street, and shoot an RPG or SNiper or anything through the glass without any negative effects?
