  • Y'all who stash food will be the first to die. Do you really think that someone is going to knock on the door and politly ask you to trade? If you do you're a stupid fuck. The first time someone runs into to you and your food stash, you'll get shot in the face and all that stuff you saved will be gone. You idiots will be the first to go. That's OK though, we need to clear out you morons to make room for the rest of us. Keep stashing my food for me.

  • i know food is important and i have a 1yr food stash. but also dont forget the firstaid and other nonedibles.cooking fuel and lamp oil there are so many things to try to remember sometimes it makes u crazy so my savior is a simple notebook and write everything down that i get or that i need to get so that i dont rebuy it if i dont need anymore of that item, good vid

  • Great video, thanks for the info. Also, most of us, don't know what to do with corn meal except fry fish or make corn bread. It would be great if you could recommend resources to tell or show what to do with that stuff. I am just starting to get food stores now and I know about getting the staples, but I'm not really sure how to best use that stuff.

  • Good Luck, Paul.

  • good variety though!

  • meat/milk/cheese are essentials in longterm TEOWAWKI

no B12 in grains fruits veggies

  • It`s important to stock up on bottled water also

  • I think this is great information. Thanks for posting.

  • good job

  • Our most probable disaster is an economic world wide collapse. This would affect every modern country on earth and its a very real threat.

  • Good, thank-you

  • that's not enough foods. with all that, its goin to last you lest than a year

  • @binzsta21 Did he say that would last him a year? I heard him speak of rotation, so I doubt that's all of his food insurance.

  • @binzsta21 I'm sure that's just a sampling.. lol

  • There is definitely something coming. i was in my wine room down the basement wondering what I should do with the room because i can't drink wine anymore ):

As I was standing there a voice or spirit spoke to me and said" Build the Ark" I thought What? ..."get prepared"? The voice said " use this space wisely and build shelves to store your food". So I started

thanks for the info it is good advise!

  • Good video. We're growing food in the garden too. Like WVD1979 says a few bottles of hot sauce are good.

  • Nice video thank you for posting. I threw in a few bottles of hot sauce to my food supplies. It really makes a difference in the bland packaged foods.

  • Fuel is a serious consideration. You need it to boil your drinking water/rain water. Coal is a good choice if you have the storage space. Medicines and first aid...

  • glad i live near a mcd's

  • @timsurftim Good luck with that in a disaster situation. :)

  • @mjt1517 lol, honestly, where i live (if i live here all my life) i doubt there will be a disaster situation in my life. Living in central southern uk is safe as a cast iron safe. touch wood.

  • Yes, add Honey to your stock. Not only does it last forever, but it is a natural antibiotic, treats burns, and tastes great :-) AND add WATER... lot of water. Great job on the video

  • i think that you did a great job! I sincerely hope that nothing happens but worst case you have protected your family; unfortunately others spend more time judging than preparing... time will tell but either way you took care of yours... you should be proud.

  • Thanks for the vid Paul. Don't forget Honey. It lasts basicly forever.

  • Also, store what you eat, eat what you store!

  • Remember baking soda too. I would rather bath in that then dishwash soap. you can brush your teeth, clean your butt, make bread clean cooking utensils, many uses for baking soda. Great videos dude.

  • @band53115 Vinegar is a good idea too. Combine that with baking soda and or water and you have good cleaning supplies. Vinegar is also good for cooking too.

  • wow 78cents for green beans,go to aldis there no more than 40cents

  • and lastly dont forget a few tin openers for opening the tins............i notice in the uk tinned tuna has more than doubled in price within the past year - lots of other everyday things that used to be cheap have also doubled as well and i rekon 2011 they will all double in price again along with huge rises electricity,gas,petrol,etc....winter has come about 5 wks early and with worldwide disasters, flooding, etc there will defenitely be shortages of basic foods.

  • great job

  • May I suggest something? Try looking into coupons. If you work your sales right and coupon, you can save HUNDREDS of dollars and stock up on all name brand stuff too, for cheaper than the cheap stuff. I have a bathroom full of soaps shampoos, deodorants, sanitary napkins etc, that I got practically for free. Same with food. One time I bought $450 worth of foods and stuffs and only paid $170!

  • You will need quite a bit of water to drink and prepare your food . Also all kinds of paper products , plates , towels , tp, etc. You should get a decent shotgun and pistol and possibly a rifle and a lot of ammunition to protect your homestead if needed.

  • Get Cooking Oil

  • awsome video what type of corn is that @ PaulHerrmann1?

  • don't forget the TP! for when you are done with all that food... seriously, paper plates too. in case utilities are down. i say paper because you don't want to burn plastic and you may need to start a fire. ALSO WATER! DRUMS FOR COLLECTING RAIN WATER (non-drinking)...I have over 100 litres of drinking water and that may be enough for me for 6 weeks.. adults, 2 kids, 2 weeks TOPS! BTW I also own a gun to protect this stuff and my family. get one (learn to use it)or go hungry.

  • Food Shortages are Coming Get Prepared.

Twenty dollars Worth of Food, for just Six dollars S&H GetFoodSavings(dot)com

  • i love these kinds of videos i have been living off of fast food literally for about 2 years along with frozen pizzas and hot pockets and i have quite a little stockpile of canned stuff and mac & cheese that i have boughten over the last few years for when im broke and dont have enough money for wendys. but ever since i got laid off and had to move back in with my dad iv been eating my canned food like there is no tomorrow and iv learned to like it.

  • Thank you for posting the video.

  • Variety is key. Great info thanks !

  • that is a hugh bag of beans

  • Thanks for taking the time to help others!

  • Having a Plan B is smart.

  • tHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING. i HAVE TAKEN A LOT FROM THIS VID AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING MY ''FOOD INSURANCE'' STARTED. Sorry for the caps!!

  • Hey lkevins1 who the blank do you think you are presuming any human beings salvation? Shame on you, and mind YOUR own business. You just take care of your own relationship and I mean your own between YOU and your Creator ONLY!!

This man is trying to help, and your only responsibility is minding your business.

  • @jmusulman I agree with you. ''Ikevins'' has a mentality of ''lets all give up''. It's ridiculous!

I'm going to start planning RIGHT NOW! :)

  • Hey have you figured out how you will purchse that food with worthless money, do you have enough gold and silver to survive; hey what R U going to do when you can't make that house payment? How much food can you carry? Where are you going to squat and on who's land? NO SAFETY OUTSIDE THE LORD! I suggest getting right with God, ACTS 2:38

  • Do you eat the one minute oats or the five minute oats?

  • Thanks for the video, i didn't know they made dry eggs. Oh i prefer my oats uncooked too.

  • If using a frying pan, grease the pan then dust with flour. Place about a quarter of the dough in the pan and heat. Bake until the bottom is lightly brown, then flip. Bake about 10 minutes on the opposite side. Bake remaining dough in similar fashion. Bannock recipe

  • Remember weapons and ammo at least 1000 rounds.

Canned water, large medical kit, and freez dried food.

  • safe to say ill be coming to your house when the disaster strikes

  • Toss in some multi-vitamins & water (lots of water) and your home base emergency food supply should be good. Vitamins will take up the slack that you may be missing in the foods. You may not have tap water to rely on, either. Good luck and it's good to see people looking beyond a trip to the store when in need.

  • @BaKonStrip I UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF VITAMINS BUT MOST EXPIRE WITHIN A YEAR,,,ANY SUGGESTIONS.THANKS

  • instant mash potatoes, deydrated peas..pepper...bottle of crushed garlic.. heaps of water, some basic meds..(anitbiotics/pain relief/anti-histamine) and your in business.. great vids

  • GET THIS DONE BY THE END OF 2010

  • Thanks for offering a different perspective of taking advice from the early explorers/settlers. I've been recently reading about early artic exploration and their way of bringing enough food to last them months and years in the artic. Rice and beans is a great way to start. Great video.

  • You neeed some omega 3 fatty acids, add flax seed, its cheap and a wonder food. You must grind it up though.

  • Great videos ~!!! Smart people~! My only concern is the location of food storage. If they are kept under a roof and the roof goes out / house crashes, now what?

  • two biggies you missed

    1. rubbing alcohol, not only for treating wound but it can burn as a fuel for cooking

    2. water, lots and lots of water. and even though it tastes horrible, one drop of bleach in every 5 gallons of water will keep it drinkable for years

  • skip canned green beans.

they have practically no food value (low in calories, used in many diets)

  • Great video..nice supply recommendations there.

  • dishwashing detergent is great for getting grease and oil stains out of clothing.

  • Readiness is our only Protection.

    Great video sir.

  • Dawn for hair and body it works people!!

  • Thanks!! Keep getting more

  • Great start Paul. Keep purchasing every week and sooner than you think you will have a 3 month supply. Don't forget salt, bleach and water.

  • ur a great American Paul Herman

  • Nice sum up, but i miss salt.

    Very important survival ingredient.

  • Hmmm.. Why should one choose to bath with dish detergent?

I mean, perhaps you just could buy one bottle of dish detergent, another bottle of washing/hair shampoo.. It really doesn't cost so much extra. :)

  • You wouldn't want to shampoo & bathe with dish det'gt too often...it's harsh & strips your skin/hair of ALL natural oil.

But for emergency/crisis situation it's BETTER because it's so concentrated that it takes only a very tiny amount to wash your hair extremely clean. One bottle lasts as long as several bottles of shampoo & bars of soap,

In an emergency you may not have hot water to wash as often & dishsoap cuts through oil & dirt much better.Very versatile & cheap product

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to make the videos. I think a lot of people are finally waking up to the fact that it's important to be prepared. Much better to be safe than sorry!

  • Let me say that you're not crazy -- you're very prudent!!!

  • Good stuff !!!
