  • I have to ask... how much did it cost for all that stone? Or did you go out and find them yourself?

  • I took it from residential construction sites in my area. Big place where they dump loads of it. Too bad everyone doesn't have that kind of access. That rock would have cost a fortune.

  • Watch my other videos. This one wasn't really educational. just a follow up.

  • How am I supposed to learn anything without audio???!!!

  • by asking legitimate questions 8)

  • thanks for the videos. I am rebuilding my pond and I will use some of your ideas. for filtration... thanks again...

  • wow, I dont know. what kid of fish? how hot does it get? Do the fish like it that hot? I don't know that much about Australia other han the water goes the wrong way whne you flush the toilet. :)

  • great pond, would this sorta pond be and good for australian native fish?

  • hey, we have koi here too!! Go to your nearest pond place and they will have the right type of fish for you, you can buy them at any size- but the bigger they are- the more they cost.

  • NICE

  • What is your problem? I have seen you post this exact comment on a few pond videos. If you knew anything ponds, you would know mosquitos don't lay in moving water, and the koi would gladly eat the larvae if they did anyway... He did a wonderful job on his beautiful pond.

  • lol your a true hater to the fulliest...congratz on hating hard!

  • fish eat mosquito eggs...LAME

  • LOL good fish :)

  • Great video!!

  • Yes! Build the bog if you can. They grow so easily and they turn into these lush little jungles that you don't even have to care for.

  • loved all the videos about building your pond. I'm building a pond in my back yard for my koi(Geting to big for the tank) like the bog may put one on my pond.

  • BEAUtiful pond! You have inspired me to create a pond in my backyard! It is not nearly as big as your pond, but it's a start! Its about 2ft deep at the deepest point, and about 6ft long. I don't know what to stock it with just yet (I don't think it is big enough for koi). Quick questions, how do you prevent the build up of mud and alge? What vegetation should I include in my small pond? Anyways, I love your pond, and your koi look HAPPY!

  • thanks for your reply! In Utah, it can get pretty cold, so I have to run a small pump in a shallower area to keep it from freezing over.

  • I very much so like how you have created the koi pond and the enviroment for them is just wonderful and i have a small gold fish pond in my backyard and i dont know the depth of yours but mine needs a heater in the winter to keep it from freezing all the way over. i just wanted to tell you that because that is how i lost my koi so now i just got gold fish but this is a very nice pond i must add
