I can't believe I found this fucking video! I skated that exact piece of road and almost ate shit and died from speed wobbles at the bottom of that first hill after the turn. Skating this road was always a good break in between classes at Cuesta. God I miss Slo!!!!!

@SnopakProductions hey, i love helping people out. currently i own an Earthwing Supermodel. its a great DH/freeride board. the foot platform is very wide, which is good because my feet are pretty big. The Evo was a good DH board. but thats about it, its useful for going one way really fast. i sold mine after 2-3 weeks use just because i skate a different style and the Evo is ONLY good for going straight downhill.

@flyingeye108 Actually on a road like this with very little turning, those harder wheels with a smaller contact patch (as long as theyre fresh and no flat spots) would smoke wider softer wheels. I mean, whats the point of having grippy wheels when your not turning much? Give it a shot! Under the right circumstances its pretty sick IMO

@im2biz2pee to stay stable on a longboard at high speeds, there are some factors that contribute to whether you shred the gnar or eat the concrete.

1. tight trucks (or loose depending on how rad you are)

2. comfortable tuck

3. a huge set of balls
