  • lol planewash and they are waxing it too

  • Must have been nice de-icing in an enclosed bucket. I had to always do it in an open bucket

  • Reminde me striders from HL2.

  • Must have been nice to go above all the winter stuff and see the sun! I'm not a very good flight passenger, and get terrified of flying. But watching these videos does help me understand that it really is the safest way to travel!! Thx!

  • the name of the song is "I'm so afraid" by Fleetwood Mac, it is a live version

  • @lemmefineout good song

  • who knew you got what you paid for? lol...

  • great video, name of song please?

  • It is common knowlege that if it is snowing or freezing rain that the plane is de-iced before it takes off. If this fact bothers you...don't fly. Also you know if it is bad weather by the simple act of (driving) to the airport.

  • If it's so frickin' scary, then next time take the bus. Better yet, just stay home. Sheesh. Don't burden us with such tripe.

  • What was so scarry???? Stupid title......

  • Hopefully you were going somewhere WARM, screw that typical east coast shitty winter weather!

  • wow what a scary flight let me off the plane I am gonna die let me off the plane, stupid title.

  • Its not foam, its called Glycol, its like antifreeze. The pink fluid is Type 1 Glycol, which is used to remove ice and snow. Depending on how the fluid is configured for the temperature, it can be either 38% (its what we use at pearson) glycol with the rest water or 48% glycol (for colder temperatures). The fluid does foam up a little once it comes into contact with air for a few minutes. Deicing is an essential thing in winter, cause if you dont go through this, planes crash

  • i dont get it..explain for me

  • there was a lot of snow on the ground (12 inches) which caused ice on the wings. They spray foam on the wings to remove the snow and ice so that the plane can fly. I was on the plane as they sprayed the foam on the wings of the airplane; and I filmed it .

  • ahhh..i get it

  • Let me off that plane!

  • actually, it's hard to tell in the video, but the liquid was pinkish, and foamy. I'm pretty sure it wasn't water. It was scary!!

  • @lemmefineout Its called glycol, why would we spray water on wings to prevent ice?

  • that was kinda scary!!!!!!

  • It might just be me, but wouldnt you think that spraying the plane with water before entering a flight in the cold would just cause the water to freeze?
