  • Ginin props to ...a teacher....RaeBC !! That woman is at my soul !!

  • I have just listened to 3 different versions of Muddy's "Mannish Boy" on youtube. They are all epic. You can't convince me that anyone is deeper than Muddy. B.B. is Great. SRV is double blues and Robert is a root. But Muddy is...

  • hi!

i´m a singer / songwriter... it would be nice if you could listen to some of my songs on my profile!!

you can find me on facebook...

  • I've set this as my ringtone on my phone and now my friends are wondering why I don't answer.

  • wow 5 people got so excited they accidentally hit the dislike button!!!

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet be the sound!

  • who the hekk's jeff healyey? muddy is the man!

  • sounds like nas sampled this for his "build the bridge" ... but i think thats just how the blues and jazz sound...

  • muddy was that man prolly the baddest mf ever..

  • I first heard this on a Nissan Pathfinder commercial and had to find it

  • That's the great thing about the internet. So much of this would be lost otherwise. I see messages from teens who appreciate music from the 70s and 80s which they'd never have otherwise been introduced

  • This is why i hate the music of today...it just cant compare with this genius.

  • shit this is orgasmic!

  • Awesome!

  • "Blues is blood."

    Chris Robinson

    The Black Crowes

  • Muito bom muito mesmo.

  • Muddy Waters is the King of music!! He inspired the King himself, The Rolling Stones and sooooooo many others.

  • Happy birthday to one of the original kings of the blues.. Muddy Waters. Amazing. I love that a whole new generation of music fans, such as myself, get a chance to experience amazing and passionate performances such as this.

  • Good to see the Ole Timey Delta Blues guys getting into it.

  • BB King did something really crazy, think he played the guitar behind his head.Once saw some old Blues guy actually play whilst standing on his head,at place called the Reddie Room.

  • Saw Buddy Guy, BB King, Johnny winter and either Etta James or Katy Webster jam with them in Houston Tx. It was back in the 90's and the venues were small and up close,a bit like being in your living room.

  • Soaking your harp in water causes the wood to expand, producing a tighter sound. But this only succeeds if you got a harp with a wooden comb, even then it doesn't always work, you'll most likely just end up wrecking your harmonica.

  • @kanrihan77

What does soaking a harp in water do for its sound?

    How to do it properly?

  • @OmenRA009 the reeds need to be moist to resonate properly... so it is like a quick tune up before playing.... the harp is fun to play you shoud try it they are not expensive.....

  • @OmenRA009....good question!

  • i met junior in van bc in1970 he showed me how to soak harps in a glass of water great guy rip

  • @kanrihan77 would you describe the scene and the how to process and the type/brand/model of harp used plz?

  • I used to have this soundtrack back in the day and I wore it out. Haven't heard this concert in years. Now to see that it's on video just kind of brings a tear to my eye. Muddy Water just rose from the dead! I must own this concert. What is the name of it?

  • It's the 1974 edition of the Montreux Festival

  • @Beerchasers That's the great thing about Youtube and other video share sites. Gold like this will not be lost and the next generation will see it

  • @Beerchasers Eagle entertainment did a LOT of the blues greats live at Montreaux.... thats where you want to be looking for the best of their music.

  • another great vocal of this song, type in the search box muddy waters and iann72= you won't be disappointed

  • listening gets me high and horny

  • blues is prayer to me with a harmonica just as God willed it.

  • Hey Rick, Jeff was an amazing guitar player, and he loved the Blues, But nothing in this world stands against Muddy singin' the Blues. Healey was a baby if you compare him with Mr. Waters.

  • who is that on the piano?

  • This is CLASSIC...

  • there isn't nothing like the blues

  • Signing your name at the end of your comment is gay. We don't need to know your name.

  • Wow my life has completely changed

    Thanks,

    Rick

  • Without Muddy's version there would be no Jeff Healey version.

  • @TheMullerFan Why don't you go kiss ace freeby

  • Listening to this makes me feel good, lol

  • Then the band is doing something right.

  • And I know its Blues and not biues sorry for my typingxskills

  • This never gets old.

  • Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf and more of the original blues greats never did get the credit they fully deserved. The likes of which may never be seen again.

  • muddy waters es la raja .......

  • I saw most of the boys in Chicago back in the day & besides Muddy, Junior was the man. He oozed cool & just sang like God intended him too. RIP.

  • saw junior wells new years eve just before he died, it was somewhere around 2001 opr 2002. he still put on a great show. his version of good morning little school girl was the best version ever. it always seemed like junior wanted to be a pop star and was a frustrated james brown. as for muddy i've seem him dozens of times and he never put a bad show. he also wanted to be like james brown. there's a great film clip of him at the newport jazz festivil back in the fifties. try to catch it.
