My son and I are counting the days down to go to the Titanic Quarter when it opens. The people of Belfast should be so proud of this memory to the great ship that was Titanic and the famileys of those fantastic work men who built her to the beautiful ship she was, sadly to be taken to the bottom of the ocean on her maiden voige by an iceberg R.I.P.
I be attedning this avent as would like to see what was like for my Great Uncle who died on Titanic Vesel his name was sir Robert Aspinall a stoker in engine room on Ship he died and did not suvive but 99 years and few months a just would like feel what would be like for my Great Uncle and sure be buying tickets for this event and rest of 10 Members also join of decendent of Robert Aspinall if could make avent.
Oh WOW! I just cant wait for next April. Been looking forward to this opening for the last few years and the excitment is really building now as we get closer. This will generate interest in Belfast from around the world and bring in much needed tourism and further investment in the city.Gives us something to be proud of....its a great time to be a Belfastian.
This is fascinating what a great idea to build the museum in Belfast where Titanic and her 2 sisters Olympic and Britannic were built. Going to the museum and find out what it would of been like on Olympic, Titanic and Britannic this is just a marvelous thing and plus remembering all those people who died on the Titanic plus the S.S.Nomadic (White Star Line's Ferry Tender) is still around YAY :).
I'm Just absolutely speechless. I'm a huge fan of passenger ships of the 19th and 20th Century.
Should be fantastic for Belfast for Northern Ireland.
Liverpool, New York and elsewhere have Titanic museums but the birth place the city that built the famous ship doesn't...Belfast will really be put on the map.
This is only 1 part of the new Titanic Quarter and when fully complete Belfast will be one of the top destination cities in the UK !
So great to see this! The stairs in the banqueting suite inspired by the grand staircase, what a lovely idea! And Bruce Beveridge's blueprints on the walls...
kinda gutted that they haven't rebuilt the staircase as it actually was on titanic...
it resembles it... but that isnt THE grand staircase...
