seeing the super man costume in the finalle was a HUGE let down. You dont see his face when he wears it, its a huge middle finger to people that want to see a perfect shot.

@drownoble Infinite Crisis didn't kill off Supergirl in the comics. That was the original Crisis back in the 1980's. More recently, but well before the recent Infinite Crisis, she was reintroduced. Also, after Infinite Crisis other Kryptonians have shown up, including the entire population of the city of Kandor.

i think people need to understand that Smallville is not the Superman we are use to. It is an alternate universe Superman like the many different versions of the Xmen, or Spiderman and Hulk comics/movies/cartoons.

It ties into Reeve's Superman or something, which Return should be a continuation of or something like that :D

Well actually the show has been given full right to use both the costume/name of superman and also to use any of supermans rogue gallery as characters, also it should be worth noting that the actual superman suit finaly came into the show in the season 9 finale, as well as a brief glimpse of a fully suited superman.

Currently in season 10 clarks keeping the suit in the fortress of solitude untill he feels he can really be the hero he needs to be.
