3. You surely are an intelligent and dedicated individual, but I really think you're not looking at the big picture. You can be doing so much more than targeting a silly news channel that is practically insignificant when considering other current-day issues. Even if your efforts lead to the dismantling of channel one news, what will really change? Would it really make much of a difference? I'm sorry to tell you, but it won't. I hope this message serves as a wake up call.
2. If your problem is that this program is being shown to kids in school then I suppose I can see where your anger lays. But, like I said previously, we live with this 24/7. A few minutes of channel one news everyday in school is not gonna hurt anyone. i'm quite sure kids watch hours of add-filled tv after school anyways. I see more benefit than harm from them watching channel one. At least they occasionally receive motivational and informative stories that can aid in their education.
1. To put it bluntly, you're an old man. You have no idea what it is like to grow up in a society where advertisements are constantly in your face nearly 24/7. We have grown accustomed to it if that is your worry. Spending so much time and energy trying to "destroy" channel 1 news is sadly a waste of time. Look around, it's everywhere. What about Foxnews? NBC? ABC? CNN? They are all, in some way, trying to sell us something. Whether it is political ideology or soda and games is irrelevant.
