This is from a F-16! JK yeah The A-10 is the airplane for close air support. This video is a perfect example why the Iraqis call the a-10 (GAU-8, the name of the gatling gun) the silent gun. You dont hear the gun until AFTER the rounds have hit the target. GREAT VIDEO!
This is an A-10. No other fighter aircraft can shoot or drop bombs this close to friendly positions. This a 30 mm HE (high explosive) ammunition - about 50-100 rounds in my estimation. The roar of the canno can be heard at the end of the tape. I suspect the enemy was on the other side of the wall.
No it is not.. That fired WAY too fast to be an apache.. Infact if anyone is the slightest bit knowledgeable about warfare you would immediately know that is an A-10 firing his GAU-8. It is un-mistakable
definaly an A10, and it was far off... two reasons, Apache 30mm is a lot slower and it clunks off a round about 4 times every second, the A10s cannon fires off at a rediculous rate, cant be arsed to look it up, but also, listen to the sound after they have hit.. a 'bvvvvvv' noise, thats 100% A10, trust me.
Those were not bombs, and it was not the RAF.. Those were essentially extremely large bullets (30mm) with high explosive charges in them coming from a USAF A-10. After all the explosions, the sound of the gatling type gun from the a-10 finally reaches them. It sounds like a loud ZIIIIPP or BVMMMM... It fires so fast you cannot hear each round fire like a machine gun, it just sounds like a constant ziiip.. Very devastating
