What I really admire about GACKT and other Japanese musicians is how they try to keep their music as free of studio editing as possible. By that I mean that they want the songs people listen to on their album to sound just like one of their lives. That is something most artists from other countries refuse to do because they have no real singing talent. GACKT for life!

hmmm... he's definitely an amazing artist. It's rare to see someone famous who can sing with such a power and dignity. His voice is unique and gives you this feeling of joy mixed with seriousness.

He's personality is close to my ideal one - mysterious, ambitious, with sense of humour.

Hah, I even wrote essay about him... My biggest dream is to met him in person, but that's quite impossible.

@NYhippie543 Why is that cheap? Someone asks you to do one of your songs as karaoke... do you as a Star have much room to say no? And in our time i think it is rare to find someone sounding so close to his lives/at karaoke like he sounds on his albums. Not many stars would actually have the guts to do it so spontanious.

Haha, they asked him to sing the song because it just got released in karaoke that time, not like he was like "I want to sing my own song in karaoke!".Actually there's nothing wrong with the key..him changing it is really weird. First I thought he is trying to save his voice by lowering it again, but after he asked "Isn't the key wrong?" ... umm I think his ear for key might not be as good as people would expect:P

But yea I agree he sings it just as it came playing from a CD, pretty damn good.
