theres a slight difference between speed g and bassline, its due to the origins of speed g being more 2 step and jungle influenced wheras bassline had more of a funky house, 4 to the floor vibe influence. the two cities that started it off was Sheffield and Brum, but no one club in bham ever got as famous as niche did
