funny thing is that a couple of years ago someone else claimed the same thing. Can you narrow down to the actual song she sings, because of the sixty songs on youtube not one of them comes close or is in english.

@RVREVO I don't think I have the Bacche Rap, but I have the songs from Lyre Lyre and The Bitter Suite, if I do find the song, I'll send you a copy. I found a song from Sailor Moon that was really hard to find perfect quality of, and I found a good quality copy from a SM website, so if I get lucky and come across this Bacche Rap I'll send you one.

@RVREVO Unfortunately, the song was never released on any of the C.D's also Enter The Furies as well as M'Lila's song were never released either. That's probably why it's so hard to find.

like the comments before, its nicknamed the 'Bacchae Rap'. Its something they threw together on the fly as most rap, hiphop, dubbing, mixing, techno, etc, usually is.

With Techno its really easy to take a record with exotic sounds and let it loop. Get an MJ to sing/rap some lyrics and its done.

And that's all this is... its not one song or another, its a little bit everywhere.

well, its totally nothing like La Tebki Wa Wrud El Dar. Just checked it out that the pace is different, the music is completely different and none of the elements in the Bacchae Rap make an appearance in it.

Whatever this song is, its probably mixed by a Techno DJ, most likely one in New Zealand and one person I can think of that was currently doing this sort of thing at the time was Mike Collings.

i love this episode...the music and energy is so intense...thanks for posting.... can you by chance also put up the other scene where Gabrielle is dancing with the bacchae girls after xena battles two other bacchae...it is more slow and trance like...i love it....

and the blood drinking ceremony is also great...it has a great arabic feel to it....

i found the singer/song a few years ago. she was a popular middle east singer. i can't find my notes on it but i know the info is out there somewhere. i think i got the info from whoosh or some site sorry wish i could be more help
