down + fierce punch is incredible anti-air vs vega's flying barcelona, It will counter the throw or slice and should he attempt a cross up it will auto switch to your backside. good work though! vega can be very tricky
At :17 you use his target combo to fierce srk to punish but most of kens heavy kick to srk or hurricane kick do more damage. not so sure for FA punishes but in general. also like ace said hurricane kick is one of your best friends but try to mix it up since mix ups are kens bread and butter, and if you do a combo to hurricane kick while they are crouching it wont hit them so use fierce punch to stand them up so you hit em and start mix ups. best used after a cross up like cros mk f.p tatsu.
I also noticed how FA's don't help Ken that much as well. I do hear mix-ups alot and i'll certainly create more. I only have a few right now but i'll make him work even if it kills me. LOL
I must say, that was a good Vega player, he didnt backdash spam or think he was the greatest air ninja ever. Ken can easily be overwhelmed if you dont use your spinkick, and midair spinkick, those things are like spinning blades of death to so many characters, the ammount of pressure you can lay on with it is quite nice.
That vega was a little bit below my level.
