That sounds crazy, plastics cause obesity. I don't know how much of a link phthalates have, probably very little, but at the same time, plastics are terrible for the health and the sad thing about them being worse when left in heat is the fact that any plastic bottle you use has probably been left in heat at some point. It's funny how these huge corporations will stamp go green on the package. I say don't recycle plastic, destroy it, they make money for every trip you make to the recycling bin
