As a former resident of Saskatchewan, I am so glad I left that pathetic excuse of a province with its communistic lifestyle there. I am in eastern Canada and soon moving to the USA where I know I can live how I want to without any government interference.
Gov't ownership is not always a bad thing...health care, insurance and energy for certain. The issue is with having a well run company, making it efficient and getting rid of bureaucracy. This is true of private and public sectors. Canada would have been far better off if we still owned Petro-Canada.
This is nothing new when the CCF which is the predessor of the NDP was created it called for the nationalization of the very industries mentioned so if a 70+ year old set of goals was leaked at the last convention big deal. As for the gov't spying on you only the Progressive Conservatives did that in the 1980's and it was the NDP who put a stop to it as well as the destruction of the prov. economy.
all the ndp can do is get 17 year ol dirt on brad and use it, give me a brake and find a different job, if they think people are going to think that this means brad sucks then they dont no politics! DIRTY POLITICS!!!
Dear Non-Saskatchewan Residents: You should know that if you do not reside in Saskatchewan - and are here visiting [doing business etc.,] and - [heaven forbid] you were to get into any accident - [a drunk driver hits you - or any accident that you are NOT at-fault for] - just know that YOU CANNOT sue the local driver - you will be 'processed' under the NDP no-fault legislation! No matter who you get insurance from at home - you will be compensated under the Sask no-fault legislation.
Ha ha, some dreg from Rural Sask and his conspiracy theories! You'll change your tune when you get sick and run to a "free" universal health care hospital for help. Sad, just sad.
You're an idiot quite obviously - right? Where is your prof that it's only a 'theory'? As for your free health care - what does that have to do with NDP [and Liberal] socialist abuses of Canadians? What does that do to negate the reality that state ownership of everything is communism? In the least these noted socialist goons are preparing an infrastructure for more fascist leaders - in a generation or two...
SAMUSARI must not understand what socailism stands for. IT does not make the public rich it makes them poor by using are tax paying dollors to invest in things that don't make a profit. Socailism also takes away the rights of the people. You should see what they are doing to DONMUNTEAN. Read his blog and find out the truth.
I am sorry but if you can't realize what that means then you would have to be unintelligent. Certainly you can see socailism when you see it if the public (ie Everybody) owned say the power company, it would be the public getting rich. That sounds nice dont you think we could use the cash? Your propaganda is a hyppocracy. Your opinion is clouded use more facts next time.
Well then you want to deny that the NDP intend a STATE ownership of everything noted in the video? That IS the traditional NDP position and it was re-affirmed with the last nation convention.
Did you visit my protest website to see what NDP socialist polices can lead to?
NDP stands for nationalization of the commanding heights of the economy. It's a social-democratic party. It's not "communist" since all of its leaders are not marxists. I still encourage everyone to vote NDP. Actually NDP does support most of the things you said. How is it a bad thing? By nationalizaing, NDP will make more available for the ordinary people rather than have immense wealth cocentrated in the hands of a few.
Quote: How is it a bad thing? Reply: People want to keep their rights - like property rights economic rights privacy rights information rights etc., etc., - when the state owns everything - where is the possibility to exercise 'choice' - without 'that' there is no democracy.

Unfortunatly if a drunk driver hits you the drunk automatically doesn't have insurance and the victim can do whatever they please.

Ya know, if you're going to spout off about someone's intelligence, it would help if you knew a basic fact:
extreme left-wing = communist
extreme right-wing = fascist
So calling the NDP "socialist goons" making way for more "fascist leaders"... kinda calls your own intellect into question.
Ignorance isn't bliss, but it makes for good fodder.
