Okay, I just tested opera mini. it loads pages much =faster and has no lag when scrolling (I used turbo boost on both mobile and mini, mini performs better, web pages for many sites load almost instantly. much faster than any other mobile browser I have tried.
What is wrong with opera mobile? it is slow and crappy but mini runs great even though it is beta.
Wow, that is incredibly slow... I loaded up the same website and it was fully loaded before it finished in this video, even had a few seconds headstart. (Verizon TouchPro2 over 3G) I think there are many factors that determine your browsing experience for OM10b3. I notice a lot of lag when you scroll, cant say I have that. But I do have a custom ROM.
While testing, I had the clock speed set to 624MHz
the axim x51v is a ok pocket pc, when I play anime thats at 720x480 and 2mbit/s bit rate, tcpmp will benchmark it at over 200% of original speed.
the device may not be the best but the goal of the video was to show how it compared to a older version on the same device.
the old version, acts more like a desktop browser, it loads the entire page while 10 only loads a small portion, thats why when you scroll you have to wait for it to render
on n86 i use opera beta3 and the regural browser! in regural browser you can zoom in an out with the zoom keys but the regural browser can't save sis or java or oter things but in opera you can save any thing
the problem with opera mobile 10 is that it doesn't render the entire page when loading so when scrolling you have to wait for the content to render on the page. This makes scrolling annoying, opera mobile 8.65 loads at around the same speed and other than the lack of smooth scroll, all content is rendered as the page loads so when scrolling you don't have the problem with waiting for the page to render.
forgot to add, while loading the entire page takes about the same time, opera mobile 8.65 doesn't really have as much of a delay before it acts upon the content received, so pages become usable long before they are usable in version 10
also as you saw in 10, when scrolling the scrolling was smooth but it took like 3-5 seconds before the content that you scroll to to appear (very annoying), I will be testing some more mobile browsers soon in search of the one with the best performance.
opera mini scrolling SUCK. when scrollling down it goes up. this is very fuckng annoying

@Gabrielregalado2 I forgot to mention one thing. This problem occurs when I use my fingers to scroll. It works normal with the stylus.

you should try to contact opera , Opera tries to make a different app for every single phone thats why it has some problems , too many phones..
I remember opera 5.2 used to have tabbed browsing on the ks360 (qwerty), on the lg cookie(touch) there were no tabs at all
