Okay dude, pleases don't be stupid. It's not good to only play downstrokes. Sure with some songs it is, and on certain parts of songs it's the way it's suppose to sound. But don't mistake the ability to downstroke with best practices. On this song there should be both single downstroked eighth notes, but also up and down eighth note strokes also. Just keep in mind, best practice is more important than the popular way. Otherwise you'll get into permanent bad-guitar habits.

Well...if you want a guitar that isn't too much money and is perfect for beginners, get a Fender: Squire Stratocaster. I got mine for £80, which is roughly $160. but make sure it's a Squire though, because a normal Fender Stratocaster can cost well over £1,000. lol
