@Zer0Hour17 I downloaded it from the Wacom website cause that's the kind of tablet I have. Check out the website for whichever brand tablet you own and there should be drivers available. :D

I tried drawing and inking in Photoshop, but it simply doesn't compare to drawing in SAI :/

Not sure if you have used or heard of that one. It's pretty amazing for the actual sketching/Inking part.

Question: Any reason why you're using CS3 over any of the newer versions? (Price?) I stopped using Photoshop just after CS3 came out years ago, and I loved the layout of CS2/CS3. CS5, which have adapted the Word/Office kind of layout, which I hate, feels a lot more ... complex and hard to learn. Is it the same thing with you?

@xzbyte2002 I've felt no need to pay the extra money to upgrade...they come out with a new version almost every year and that just seems like a waste to me. XD I like CS3 just fine!

I haven't tried the newer ones tho - so they actually change the layout??

when you get the time for your colouring / shading video do whatever feels easier for you to explain and demonstrate... if you can do them both in 1 take awesome if not 2 vid's will suffice.

@bobtron2010 The answer would be to buy it. If you're a student, asking your school for a license might be an option if they're actively promoting Adobe as a whole. If they aren't, there's always discounts for student (90% on the school I'm at currently).

You got a couple more options, but they're illegal. So don't use those unless you want some bully to come at your door :-)

@AevynneLulzTiem Haha, I watched Sailormoon like it was going out of fashion when it was on the old CN (I think that's what it showed on over here) then I bought every single episode/movie in Japanese, so if I didn't notice I'd be worried! I'm probably pushing it to get two responses from you, but what tablet do you use? I've been trying to find one for a long time, but I honestly have no idea which one to use.

@MissUnify I use an Intuos4 from Wacom. It's really nice so far. Not sure how much it is; my dad gave it to me. XD

We have that in common - Sailor Moon. I love it so much, as cheesy as it can be. It's what inspired me to start drawing when I was 9. :D

@AevynneLulzTiem lol, its just the first thing I noticed. I use the pen tool for my line art too, except I do it all on one layer. Handy tip: pressing ESC deletes the stroke path.

@LimeXLight Photoshop can be pretty expensive. :( I got mine through school so I got lucky. If you wanna start with something simple, check out Deleter Manga Shop (CG Illust). That's what I used to use way back in the day. It's VERY similar, and it's only 80 bucks (from what I saw just now looking it up). :)
