I knew Avery would be there..... but I thought Matt Cooke would be there too. I would make Matt Cooke number 1 hated.... at least for my family. My dad's brother's friend (I know, it sounds weird but it is true) plays in the NHL.... well he used to.... Matt Cooke went knee to knee on him and ended his career a couple years ago. He still can barely walk and has to wear this thing on his knee. I actually know some NHL players and all of them hate him. My last words are: Matt Cooke sucks

Bertuzzi didn't do anything wrong. Steve Moore had a cheap shot on one of Colorados guys, and Bertuzzi was just sticking up for his teammate. Moore should have fought like a man, and not given such a cheap shot. And Avery is just fun to watch... And i'm a wings fan.

@noobertoober1 Avery may be the most hated player in today's league, but he isn't even close to being in the Ulf Sammuelsson/Claude Lemieux/Dale Hunter league. Avery never ended a hall of famers career with a cheapshot, or knocked out a teams best player from a playoff series after a play was over, or drilled someone face first into the boards intentionally. I think the idiots who voted are all 17 and have never seen any of the other people play.
