Very nice...always wondered, i'm somewhat reluctant to declare an emergency unless it's a major one...smaller things, where you could possible get away with not calling you guys out...is it a pain, or are you guys always willing to go, even when it's most likely a show up and do nothing type of call.
VUSCG5213, you never have to worry about declaring, it's our job not a hassle to get in the trucks! It seems like too many pilots wait until their "really in trouble" to ask for help somtimes.
@Staubb00 Alright...yeah seems the paper work, and the fact of rolling out all the equipment for something that isn't 100% necessary sometimes makes the decision hard. Keep up the good work though, good piece of mind to have you guys on the field!
Hey buddy I am Volunteer firefighter in upstate NY. Before I answer your question I would like to say that me and my whole department are UNPAID and are on call 24/7. 70% of calls any fire department, police department go on are nothing too serious or ever false alarm. Me personaliy I would rather go on 100 false alarms then have 1 real fire, or injury , where someone forgot to call. As firefighters we may complain about it but in the end that's exactly why we're here.
striker 3000 3,000 gallons of water the striker 4500 is 4,500 gallons and the 1500striker is 1500 gallons that is the main diffrent the small one is 42heel and the 3000 is 6 wheel and the 4500 is 8 wheel i think

Perhaps they didn't opt for the luxury package with the surround sound, and massage seats?
