@zx6rtt Yep! Check out Bill Caswell's BMW 318i. He bought it on Craigslist for $500 (USD) and put a little bit of work in it (just a couple grand) and competed in Mexico... he took THIRD place! So basically, he beat out 20+ drivers in $400k+ cars!!

When they are showing the crashes, people think Nascar crashes are bad. They havent seen anything. Rally is way better, after a crash they get out and say  "man, hahaha, wtf happen there?" with a smile on their face. But Nascar they slide on the roof for 500 ft. and they get out of the car and sit and cry in the hospital. Nascar is gay.

Not just "upgrades" pretty much rebuilding and re-engineering the car. The whole uni-body is actually seam welded. That means they go over every joint and fully weld it.
