Their music is extremely catchy, but during a live show their instrumental songs don't connect with the audience like someone speaking or singing would. All Verse is going is building a bridge so the crowd feels like a part of the show. It's like going on a jeep tour through the Sahara desert, or looking at animals inside a cage.

He is very annoying for an "MC" ......I've seen Pendulum twice, first time was Ultra 2006? When they were on the main stage. He ruined their whole set IMO but its Pendulum and they still played a great show. Saw them again at the Mayan in LA and thank god he wasn't there. Quite possibly the best electronic music show I have ever been to. If you want an MC for DnB then look to Messinian or Navigator, they can rhyme and do a lot more then just make noises into the mic...........

What Pendulum and the rest of you here are missing is the BASS. Ya know the other half of Drum and Bass. You can't have drum and bass without the heartbeat of the genre man. Voyager, Vault, Another Planet, fuckin choons meant for clubs with bad boy sound systems. Sounds and experiences you can't get at these ampitheater events.

What Pendulum is doing is cool, but they have moved beyond drum and bass and are now rock, period.
