I found this album (on vinyl) are more than 20 years. Was abandoned in a store in my town. I bought and did not believe it when I heard something so precious could be being discarded. On the cover of the booklet there is an illustration of a boy with a rod of iron leading wildlife. To this day I am touched with this song.

I caught the Waterboys in Portland, OR in November. An incredible experience. Mike wrote in his diary that the show was one of the most (the most?) special show in the 80+ shows they did. I still get chills thinking back to the night.

I saw the band in Boston last night; it was a great show.  Each member is a very good musician, but the most notable aspect is Mike Scott's voice, which is superb.

The band sound better live than on CDs or records.

You cant beat Mike and the boys really, especially if your scottish . I was on you tube havin a wee big country rush feelin sad how Stuart Adamsons gone and then remembered Mike Scotts still here so things aint so bad..

Man why arent these guys appreciated like Springsteen (legend) is and then realised Scotland a wee place the UK's a wee place and thats the way it is.
