  • ** We must go Against The Grain, of the mainstream media's fear-tactics & soundbytes **

people need to not watch t.v. so much - as it puts one in a passive - suggestive - hypnotic state, that is more susceptible to being manipulated via various propaganda information, including commercials ---many of which push pills..

  • ** DANGER = FEAR ** or dANGER, lol....thanks for the video!! most of the b-vitamins in whole grains are probably cooked or destroyed by modern food processes anyway

  • seems like mainstream media - Doesn't want to focus on remedies that don't create profits for big pharma...as those who own Big Media...also own..Big Pharma

  • I've been G-Free for the better part for the better part of 2 weeks and I was known before as the worst morning person ever. That area in my life has improved drastically I now wake up without foot dragging as I like to call it.

  • The bread is only fortified with the same nutrients it prevents you from absorbing....

  • Making soup-stock using chicken, turkey, duck, beef, lamb, pork, fish, or any other animal bones can also be a very good source of calcium, and is also gluten free.

  • Yes, you are absolutely correct. There is a big difference and I misspoke. I believe I've already acknowledged this error in an earlier comment.

Gluten has been shown to be a causative factor in both conditions so that data of the video isn't flawed and that is why it is still up.

    Best,

    Dr Vikki

  • She said it cured her sons autism, not ADD. There's a huge difference.

  • Gluten is an addictive drug.

  • Gluten is a protein that has no significant nutritional value. Foods containing gluten hold other properties than just gluten. The trick is if you eat one specific food regularly but it contains a protein that cannot be removed from it, you need to stop eating that particular food. So, when you stop eating that food, you need to supplement or find alternative choices for B12, fiber and the other stuff that you will be missing from your fortified bread.

  • PRETTY Doctor lady!! :)

  • 1) Jenny said her child was cured of Autism not ADD. He most likely is more like ADD now rather than full blown on the Spectrum.

    2) Dr Peter Green was prob NOT referring to The Autism or Nuero Community. I believe that he was referring to the ridiculous trendiness in Hollywood going on now because the word "diet" + anything paired with the word diet (even if they said "The Turd Diet") Hollywood (the most eating disordered community as whole out there) would seize onto that!

  • 3) So of course it's now a Hollywood Diet trend. Hollywood's into it because of the word "Diet". (not for apraxia or Autism reasons)

Why would Liz condone this diet for anyone that is Not Celiac or ASD? She is telling Terry Moran & the rest of the public their energy levels will soar, why? Because HER energy soared going GF, SHE was sick previously! Dr Peter Green is THE Man along w/Dr Alessio Fasano. They know their stuff. What GF IS, is a requirement for someone who is Celiac / Intolerant.

  • The reason they are saying its dangerous is because many GF subs are made w/starchy NONnutritive flours. No value at all in potato starch-corn starch-rice flour (unless it's brown) Why anyone would prefer GF non-nutritive starchy pasta over a whole grain pasta that has protein in it (if their NOT glluten intolerant) is beyond me. Now if their cutting out pastas & Breads all together (GF included) then you are not just GF you are probably eating low carb & I I can understand their weight loss.

  • Having worked in the industry I can assure you much of the interview was cut & is sitting on the editing floor. You saw 60 secs of Dr Peter Green who I am sure was NOT interviewed for 60 secs & had more to say, BUT the piece was NOT about the Neuro-community, GF benefits in depth or "Sensitive" people BUT rather about Hollywoods "NEW" Diet! H-wood Gossip gets ratings. Surely those sensitive should be GF but when Liz says EVERYONE SHOULD be, it minimizes a "need" to look like a "choice" its NOT!

  • @hipretty ADD isn't on the autism spectrum. Gluten is a problem for more ppl than what was once thought; some tests can't even prove that you have an intolerance, and drs are reluctant to test. Gluten isn't bad for ppl that can digest it, if it's consumed in moderation. But, gluten is everywhere and in almost all things processed. The most common ingredients in processed foods are also things most people are allergic to.

  • Dr. Vikki

Could you please let me know what your PHD or PHDs are in, and from which University or Universities you received your accreditation? I'm also interested in reading the "Oodles of Scientific research" you referenced in this video. I am considering a gluten free diet, but would like to read facts, not opinions, from Doctors or Reasearchers published in reperitable Scientific and/or Medical Journals. Thank You for your time.

  • @delacerdaa, Juices have most of the fiber removed and therefore are missing a lot of the benefits of juicing yourself. When a company makes a juice, not only is it mostly fruit and therefore high in natural sugar, but they strain it of fiber and pulp, leaving a very refined product.

Instead you want to liquefy organic vegetables & fruits that are high in antioxidants yourself. There truly is no comparison.

    Best,

    Dr Vikki

  • Can someone tell me if the Naked brand juices are good to drink instead of buying a juicer and making juice at home?

  • I want you to know honey great video and i saw from the first min of the video you were referring to and realized yet again the controllers of government are trying to condition us to think and do as they want us to do...I will tell my people here and God Bless Us all in this fight for Liberty and Justice for all of us in this time of information wars and destruction of our rights to speak truth and knowledge to the People of America all our rights ,down to what we eat, are being taken from us!

  • This "Dr" Greene is most likely a spokesperson for the wheat industry or something like that. What a bunch of ridiculous people in the states these days! You are right Dr Vikki, if you knew this a*** hole personally you should be slapping him, for being a sellout. Damn some Americans! Sorry, makes me mad too...

  • outstanding... thank you for sharing...

    take good care and peaCe2U

  • Thanks for posting this Dr. Vicky. There is so much mis-information out there. And much is unknown - especially due to all of the GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) that is in our food supply today. I feel strongly about this surge in gluten intolerance being linked to the GMO factors.

I hope to see more of your videos... Thanks!

  • Thank you Dr. Vikki! I was amazed that Nightline repeatedly said it was dangerous to go gluten free. Makes no sense at all. I cured years of health issues by going gluten free, when I finally figured out what the problem was. Thanks for getting out the correct information!

  • Good job. I'm sending this to my friends where appropriate.

  • I can't believe how someone can be so rude! Great Job by the way Dr. Vikki!!! I was diagnosed with a Wheat allergy, multiple negative blood test results for Celiac, and a heavy positive result for Celiac disease. I totally believe in Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity. Why would there be so many people who have had negative test results for both blood and biopsy and still have these horrible illness's / diseases. People need to do their own research as not every doctor is right! Jazz, Shame on you!

  • Dr. Greene addressed the fact that gluten-free prepared foods (gf:baked goods, cereals, crackers, frozen dinners) are not fortified with extra vitamins and minerals. When you give up gluten, you also lose these nutrients. Most people don't want to increase their intake of fruits and veggies to get their vitamins & minerals. As such, the average person on a gluten-free diet (Celiac or not) risks nutritional deficiencies. They would be wise to take a daily supplement, especially B complex & Iron.

  • Dear Jazz,

Dr Vikki here: your data is faulty. Antigliadin antibodies are associated with many diseases. Just today I wrote a post on schizophrenia on my blog. This disease falls within neurological disorders as you mentioned. The research is strong showing increased antigliadin antibodies in this debilitating disease. My blog: glutendoctors.blogspot.com will have the post up by Monday. I'm not sure where the confusion is occurring but research does not support your statement.

  • Way to go Dr. Vikki! I was pretty shocked by Dr. Green's comments. Going GF is not dangerous at all, being sick from eating a vary hard to digest protein (wheat gliaden) is dangerous. Too bad so many people in this country are sick because of gluten and don't know it.

  • powerful!! by far the most powerful of all your videos so far!! i have been gf, dairy f, soy f, for 6 months now and i am NOT celiac or gluten intolerant. i'm a premed student at the university of new mexico and i am so passionate about telling everyone i come across about the effects of gluten on our digestive and nervous systems! thank you for all you do!

  • Thanks Dr. Vikki. I think we can safely say that the Wheat lobby is not going to be ok with the truth about gluten getting out. Unfortunately for them all it takes for people to figure it out is a one month trial and seeing the results first hand. Lower thyroid meds, disappearing rashes, migraines, heartburn, allergies, being able to walk without sounding like a bowl of rice krispies, none of this lies. The results speak for themselves. Very loudly.

  • @Jazz201054 Money, I absolutely know where Dr Greens money lies.

I don't know for a fact you have celiacs disease, Jazz201054. The amount of time you spend here is a bit curious in and of itself. Agenda.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jazz201054 with all respect, you have no freaking clue what you are talking about. gluten acts on the zonulin signaling in the intestinal mucosa even without having the celiac genes, which increases gut permeability and therefore can create all sorts of problems, incl. IBS (which i can confirm personally). you really should do some more research on your own before you comment like a total retard with no clue here..

  • Comment removed

  • @Jazz201054 ok, as your really do not seem to be the brightest around here on youtube i may direct you to some several dozens studies that confirm gluten sensitivity. and to not overwhelm your tiny brain, you may just read the text marked in RED on this page, under "Medical Journal References to Gluten in Non-Celiac Individuals" link: is. gd/h0fQ0 excerpt: "Celiac disease, or gluten-sensitive enteropathy, is *ONLY ONE* aspect of a range of possible manifestations of gluten sensitivity."

  • Another WONDERFUL production ! I shared it on my facebook also.

    Very glad you brought this up and the more who view it the better... shame on the other doctor... I too don't know what he was(nt) thinking. Strange ;0{

Though I don't live with celiac; I am intolerant of gluten and agree that there are "way" too many others who can and would benefit from abstaining from Wheat, Rye and Barley... also there are so many other wonderful grain options so going without the 3 really isn't a problem :o)
