@MorningStar3251 Well I would say get both. Drawing via a tablet is not as easy as it seems at first. Since there is a disconnect between where your hand is and where the drawing appears. On the iPad, however, you won't have the problem. So basically it depends what you prefer seeing where your lines are going to go or training in a new tool to get the same effect from scratch.

While this is a very great piece of work here, I really don't understand why everyone is trying to compare themselves to this video. Anime may not be your thing, black and white may not be your thing, Paint Tool SAI may not be your thing, etc. and there's absolutely nothing wrong with you if you can't draw this.

this is just a doodle because it is actually using a one toned effect. Various brushes are used but the simple color scheme stays the same. Also what is being changed  is only the opacity to create layers and depth it is simple. anyone can do it, but using correct technique is something that not everyone is capable to do, but this person is able to do so. Don't get hung up on the word "doodle" everyone's perspective of doodle is different.

very nice drawing, you have talent! ...but your OC looks kind of over-accessorized with the little star clips and the headphones AND the cat ears. Its a bit over the top, but maybe you want it like that so I respect it

Apart from that i love your style and technique, especially when you make a dark circle and then you erase the middle, making it looks like an outline. Very clever!
