The F-4 Phantom II was one of the greatest fighters ever made. It proved itself as both a fighter and an attack aircraft in numerous combat engagements. The German F-4F / Improved Combat Efficiency (ICE) upgrades kept these winged warriors in the game for an extra 20 years and allowed this Gen 3 platform to hold its own against many Gen 4 and 4.5 designs.
