Thanks! Are you referring to the synth appregio in the background? I see some similarity there, but there is more more similarity with techno appregios that you hear commonly throughout the 80s and 90s. Duran Duran is one of my favorite new age bands, so im sure they've influenced a lot of my work as well as many other bands/artists.

Its pretty good, but you need to bring daves voice forward and vary the beat more, it starts to grate after a while, buts its good, i like it.
