I watched it when they showed it on ABC a couple of weeks ago and they cut this song down. I think they stuck in subliminals, because I've been buying chocolate a lot since I saw it, which wasn't the case when I watched it on DVD. The Roald Dahl songs from the book combined with Danny Elfman's music are so much better than Leslie Bricusse's "Ooma Looma doopity doo."

I have alot of respect for Tim Burton for having the guts to tamper with a film and story so widely revered as CATCF. Had there not ever been an original film with gene Wilder, people would not have come down on this as a hard as they did. i personally like it. I feel it was more true to the book and it's dark, yet tongue in cheek undertones. I feel Dahl would have liked it too.

Well considering that the first one was, and this was admitted by the director, a way to sell the candy bars that came out the same time as the movie did and the author of the book stated that the first one was a disappointment not capturing the true dark humor and the widow saying the Depp/Burton remake was spot on, I would have to say, You suck and your opinion doesn't matter :)
