  • try keeping the volume down a little to avoid overloading the mic.

  • i have a question. on the clean channel, is the guitar actually clean? or is it crunchy like in the video. please comment back thanks

  • best way to go clean is to get into the middle position. My mic was terrible and things sounded garbaled. Sorry-

  • alright thanks man. im hoping to get my dad to let me buy one of these sweet axes! XD

  • What's the neck pickup? The bridge is supposedly a Super Distortion but I'm wondering the neck...

I checked out BC Rich's site and it states a generic "dual blade", might be a DiMarzio chopper?

  • There was a guy on harmony central who i believe took the guitar apart and said the neck PU was a chopper.

  • I see. Does it have enough output to match the powerful Super Distortion?

  • of course. it doesn't sound like a single coil at all

  • took it apart what a tit. he could have found out on the bc rich website

  • i too thought it was a chopper, but its a generic dual blade pickup. the only way to find out is if you remove it and look underneath. or ask dimarzio

  • yeah sounds like your mic is distorting i wee bit :P

    looks pretty sweeet

  • is it just the video qualtiy or does that guitar just sound absolutly horrible?

  • maybe the video. My slinger kicks ass

  • It's the microphone. Getting a lot of clutter from the trebly tone. I've been a Kramer guy myself. The BC Rich was definitely that *other* LA scene hard rock & metal guitar. I used to love the cool graphics the gunslingers had. I wonder why they didn't think to bring back the custom graphics. Is the paint job on this line nitro?

  • I don't know if the paint is nitro or not. However, The paint job feels kind of thin. On the back on a horn, some paint has started to peel a little. I don't know if you can tell from the video, but the red is extremely bright. I dunno why BCR didn't make some cool graphix for this axe?????? Anyway, I've updated the paint job just a tad. Maybe in my next video you'll see ;)

  • im thinking of getting the "power" model with EMGs any one got one that can tell us about it?

  • I was actually thinking about getting the yellow one of those..

Dude that amp is sick too!

Haha doesn't matter the pickups as much, that amp could make any guitar sound nice if it's set right. =]

    Sweet guitar though dude!

  • Nice guitar how much does it cost

  • $499

  • Hi man! I am actually interested in this guitar.. for its retro look. (I am used to play Ibanez RG '90 series...) can u tell me where is manifactured? Japan? USA? or.. ehm... Korea!?

I don't even know if it is available in fuckin' italy!!!

    keep on the good job!!!

  • I THINK, it's Chinese, but don't quote me on that.

They're apparently really great guitars, for the price though, you could probably make a profit selling the parts! :P

  • I think they're MIK. Thing is though, I've been in love with the guitar since I got it. It's replaced my USA EVH Wolfgang stop-tail which was my main axe for 5 years. Regardless of where it's made, It's an aewsome axe. I'd still like to see BCR come out w/ more colors, maybe some neon ones :)

  • Cool videos man but no offense when the video is encoded its compressing down to about 96k for sound if you have something to encode @ 128kbs you could have a semi good tone replication, its distorting the mic to much.
