Agree. Ovechkin is my favorite player and he's definitely the most prolific scorer and probably the best play in the world. But I like Sid and I think he's the best all around player period. Every time he gets the puck it's about 80% gauranteed a scoring chance. Not even Ovie is that lethal.

Factor in the opposition trying with active sticks to break the play. Only some of the best players in the league has the vision to spot the seams to make a good play. The Pens were only +3 with him on the ice this season. He has to score when he's on the ice because the defense usually gives one up when he's out there.

1, i think the islanders could have beat the hurricanes, how they made it to the playoffs, let alone the finals is beyond me, 2, the flyers have a very talented team which should have took the penguins to a game 7, and won but they just stopped playing, 3, the rangers are a very talented team, and the devils are really good, and then, well theres the islanders.. always terrible, fact of the matter is that basically every year, 4 of the 5 atlantic teams go to the playoffs

dude really, much weaker teams, the atlantic division is probably the toughest division in the east and the pens are in it, 4 out of the 5 teams made the playoffs in the atlantic, Devils, Rangers have two of the top 10 best goalies in the nhl on those teams dont give me that bs, and crosby could easily get 50 goals in a season and if you have watched the playoffs this season he is leading the playoffs in goals with 14 in 16 games on like 62 shots with a 22 shooting percentage.....stop talking

Agree. Ovechkin is my favorite player and he's definitely the most prolific scorer and probably the best play in the world. But I like Sid and I think he's the best all around player period. Every time he gets the puck it's about 80% gauranteed a scoring chance. Not even Ovie is that lethal.

AHAHAHA! Passing is easy when you're sitting there on your fat ass watching but when you're at full flight, making a tape to tape pass isn't as easy. Factor in the opposition trying with active sticks to break the play. Only some of the best players in the league has the vision to spot the seams to make a good play. You're no different from the crew behind NHL09, haven't played a single day of hockey in their lives.

i dont care what anyone says. Crosby is the absolute best hockey player in the NHL. Everyone walks around talking about how ovechkin is sooo amazing and how he scores soo many goals. When you take 500+ shots a season then ur bound to score. If crosby shot 500 shots he would have scored a lot more then 56 goals or however many ovechkin did...all around crosby is a better player, his passes are out of this world, and his hockey sense is amazing, and he just plays smart.

that is the stupidest shit i have ever read he does not even play with malkin unless on a power play not only that the pens played all defense this year until bylsma became coach, and he was still top three in points. He is 21 and has done more with his life then u ever will. O and for those who think crosby cant score, he was top 7 in the league in even strength goals. He was also 1st in the league in power play assist and in the playoffs right now has the top faceoff %. Just think about it.
