really, really nice video tribute to a great man and a great actor..JACK PALANCE, is someone i'd like to have met and sat down with for a couple of hours..i remember when i was a kid and saw "SHANE" and PALANCE, for the first time came in as JACK WILSON, he scared the hell out me..one of the great performance in screen history..JACK PALANCE, only had 18 lines in that movie but was still nominated for an academy award..
He made every movie he was in, good or bad, a lot better. He never had his name above the title, never won lots of awards, and never made millions looking pretty. But he left every role bigger than the way he found it. Take Care, Buddy.
We Palahnuk's are all proud of Jack's accomplishments. A long line of natural theatrical, musical talent and good looks. For another example, type in Nick Palance in the search box in Youtube.
Palance was born in Lattimer PA (near Hazleton).. the hard coal region of Appalachia. There were no sissies in Lattimer. This was a hard working and hard playing kind of folks. He quite generously to the museum at Eckly PA and to preserve the history he was born in to -- he was a soldier in WWII (no sissies there either) and returning home did not return to the economically depressed coal region but went on to acting (and gave us so many excellent movies). We were looking in the mirror.
One of my all time favorites. Glad he made so many movies.

He had bold and powerful features! extremely high cheek bones and yet
gentle and commanding eyes. He was one of a kind perhaps no other like him
now or ever. Thankyou for putting together this excellent tribute to this legendary actor.
