Most of the time monsters that were created through extreme radiation, but Bandits are met frequently (criminals that smuggle arms, steal etc.), and you can make a friend or enemy of most people that live in the Zone, be it a faction, the army or just loners out to explore.

Additionally, if you really know much about the game, by the time you enter the Red Forest, you would have looted a lot of better guns and gears, as you can choose to defend the Freedom members just before Red Forest. Even if you dont help them, you can still loot the dead bodies. But I decided to bank them all and use my AK. Goodness, people use whatever they like by choice, and not for your dick head to judge.

the suit that you should use is the SEVA suit it has 80 percent protection against radiation 40 percent bulletproof

Yes. You have to succesfully escort Dr. Kruglov from The Wild Territory the the scientist research compound at Yantar. Then complete a small mission for the scientist. You will then get a prototype headgear-thing that blocks out the waves for a longer period. This buys you more time to switch of the "Brain Scorcher". Imo the best tactic in both Yantar and Red Forest is to just run for it, ignore enemies once you get close. Once you get into the basements, the amount of psi damage is reset.

if you actualy go off the road were that green trailer is into red forest here is what youl find, sorks, dogs, wolfs, anomolies, radiation, zombies, a butt load of artifacts, and probably not a life to tell the tail lol. that is the most dangerous place in the entire game. but if you look hard and fast its got rewards

I believe he is using the Fast shooting AK 74 from Strelok's stash in apogram underground. He also added a detatchable scope that you can find in stashes and attatched to higher level enemie's guns, or in mods like the ABC mod at traders.

Eh, I don't like the AK-74. Well, when I started out, I'm like "OH LOOK BIG GUN!!" But then I run into the Okabin (sp?), GP37, and the TR gun. I found a TR... it's silenced, accurate, and has a scope like the L85. I found an L85 with a silencer but the TR dominates all the guns... in my opinion. I haven't found a sniper rifle WITH lots of ammo. (I have gone to the Army Warehouses, I wish those snipers carried more than just one mag of ammo)
