This show takes place in Earth-16 of the DC Universe, a move specifically done by the creators/producers to avoid entanglements with the DC multiverse canon. That's how they managed to put both Wally and Dick in this "Young Justice" team as oppose to Tim Drake or Bart Allen, let alone create Aqualad and alter the background of the others. It has no connection to the other products - not even other DCAU.

It didn't make sense to me(and still doesn't honestly) because I didn't know that this show was based in another realm/world of DC heroes. I definitely see your point, I just didn't know that. Most comic cartoons usually follow the main version or world almost tick for tack with the comic book which is what through me off. I guess that kinda explains X-Men legends and other comic cartoons with weird chronologically.

@PhantomGhost25, I get what you mean. For years now, DC has employed a "multiverse" for the purposes of allowing different creative approaches to the characters and stories that we know and love. It's basically their way of preserving that which has been established while also making way for new ideas like those presented in "Young Justice". While I know it can be bothersome to keep up with, I actually appreciate it because, frankly, I like seeing modern ingenuity carefully applied to classics.

yes everyone with a brain knows that robin by far has the most experience on the team. you dont have to be superpowered to defeat superpowered villians. Like agent smith once told Neo"still using all the muscles except the one that really matters*brain*" Its the typical Brain vs Brawn game and in the end the two non-superpowered kids beat two superpowered machines. because of the cunning manuvering brainpowered and a never say die attitude

He was the one where the readers were asked to chose whether he would live or die and they picked 'die'. Tim Drake is the third Robin and he's my favourite Robin however I don't think that he was hated too much. Steph Brown (Spoiler) was Robin for a stint and I think she died. The last Robin is Damien and I know nothing about him sorry.
