you mean the Quadrilater? Yes, it's part of Bulgaria, Bulgaria deserves it but Bucovina and Bassarabia are part of Romania and they were stolen by the Russians during the World Wars.

There are some Romanian ultranationalists, who claim that South Dobrudja is Romanian.

There is a smaller Bulgarian group who claim that Northern Dobrudja is Bulgarian.

I personally think that the situation as it is now is OK.

Romanians attacked Bulgaria in the back when Bulgaria fought with Greece, Serbia, and Turkey for its own territories. Bulgaria paid it back to Romania in WW1 when we took Bucharest. Romania returned South Dobrudja which it had occupied in 1940.

So now everything is cleared.

Of what I know romanians died for Bulgaria fighting agains Ottoman Empire on Bulgarian lands,and this is the big THANKS we get? Where do you lear your history? First, I support the unification of Moldova and Romania. And I apologize that Bulgarian president Parvanov supported Voronin - he is just a communist called socialist.

Romania fought in 1878 and this is mentioned each year on 3rd of March - the day of signing the armistice of san Stefano.

Yet, Romania did attack Bulgaria in the back in 1913 while Bulgaria was fighting against Turkey, Serbia and Greece. Romania occupied Bulgarian lands till 1940 when they were returned to Bulgaria.

When romanians agreed to fight agains the turks they let russian enter romanian teritory to take the attack over the Bulgarian border and afther the war ended russian refuse to leave and all ended with Moldova being rusificated along with milions of romanians.

Bulgaria has the same problem with Macedonia as Romania with Moldova - both are artificial nations created by Stalin's Comintern.

I hope Moldovans will be able to decide alone whether they want to go to Romania, or stay alone.
