As far as I'm concerned the moment a kicker starts running after the ball carrier to make a play he's open field for blocks. That was a clean block. A regular player would've known to keep their head on a swivel and look for the crack block coming. Punters should kick the ball and that's it. Want to become part of the play? Expect to get popped.

A cheap shot would be hitting someone before or after the play. Most people would call this a cheap shot just because it's a kicker. TOO FUCKING BAD. He's on the field, wearing a helmet and pads, just like anyone else. He's capable of tackling the runner too. This would have been a cheap shot if he hit him from behind or if the play was already over. Kicker should watch what the fuck is goin on around him next time.
