  • u hacker theres no way hiltmontop can bat infernape

  • This still confuses me. How did you breed Fake Out on Hitmontop?

  • tyrogue starts with fake out

  • .... i looked up this video to see your mantine's moveset... and you used him to take an explosion hit... lol...

  • can some1 help tink of a moveset i have a hitmontop/cacturne too o.o

  • im sorry but wat does UU mean?

  • UU = Underused Pokemon (Not very popular based off stats and other factors.)

    OU = Overused Pokemon

    Hope that helps a little.

  • Uber = Uber pokemon (the best pokemon in the game, supposedly inbalances everything if let into normal gameplay)

BL = borderline pokemon (to good for UU, to bad for OU

NU = never used (pokemon that nintendo seems to hate, great fun to beat people with)

  • Actually, BL is a fake tier. It's just there to place the pokemon too good for UU but not used enough for OU.

  • Technically ALL tiers are fake. None of them are Nintendo official, thus making them a fan-created concept. So BL is just as real as any other tier. :p

  • And if pokemon are placed it it, it exists.

    lololol.

  • I think I battled this guy the other day...

UU teams are always great to watch, I've been thinking of making one...

  • Me, or my opponent?

  • Your opponent.

  • Very cool team, I gotta say. Top notch choices all around, especially Hitmontop (Loooove the Hitmons ~)! Keep up the great battles!

  • Hey, it's Arbok. That's the one fully-evolved Pokémon I never saw in a Japanese video of PBR. ALl other fully-evolved Pokémon I saw at least once, even stuff like Corsola, Delibird, and Luvdisc.

Hitmontop is pretty good. In a battle where the computer ran out of power as I was recording, I was whooped by a Hitmontop who used Bulk Up, then Mach Punch.

  • Oh, I didn't even consider Bulk Up. I probably would have put it over Fake Out if Fake Out weren't so useful in Double Battles. And it keeps Weavile from surviving Mach Punch with Focus Sash...

  • That's true. Your moveset is also very handy, whereas Hitmontop might not afford that turn to Bulk Up. The thought of that strategy never came to minduntil I saw it.

  • It kind bugs me how many pokemon can actually learn earthquake.

  • It makes having a Ground Resist/Immunity on your team very important.

  • Isn't Arbok great? I also had a battle with Arbok vs. Weezing, which I thought was funny (Team Rocket Pokemon), but unfortunately I didn't record that one. :(

  • Heheh, funny you should talk about Team Rocket because as usual Arbok lost out to Pikachu =S

  • Haha, I totally overlooked that. Good catch. It truly was a storybook ending. :p

  • Yipes, that Critical Hit at the end of the battle was your undoing, as Pikachu's defenses would've given to an Earthquake...but then again these things always happen at the worst times.

Yes, Pikachu's definitely a firce contender while holding it's signature item, but i still prefer Raichu to its pre-evolved form.
