  • Beautiful!

  • This makes me want to play as an imperial in skyrim just so my characters back story will fit my reminisant face ^_^

  • Still playing this game!! Love it <333

  • One of the best tracks on the Oblivion soundtrack.

  • my c0ck is so big right now, I want to fuck the song right at the climax.

  • @Illumina7ion Your cock is the size of the dislike bar

  • Oblivion had a much better soundtrack than Skyrim. That's what I think made Oblivion such an unforgettable game.

  • @Gematria009 I know right?!?! Oblivion had this whole level to it I can't even explain. Skyrim has better features and all, but Oblivion still has something I can not explain. The long night in the summer exploring the world and the amazing music. I will never have a more beautiful gaming experience...

  • @XxXColeTrainxXx The music is what really gave it its mystic atmosphere. Skyrim's got amazing visuals, but it lacks the adventurous background music like Oblivion had. Oblivion's world came alive to me like no other game.

  • :')

  • Oblivion is such a good game, but not anymore. It's sad, but the truth. The game just simply does not keep up with e.g. Skyrim. BUT, the memories will forever live on <3

  • @Venberg1 I'd contest that. I have no issue going back and playing Oblivion even after playing Skyrim. With the mind mindset even dated visuals can be very immersive.

  • @Arathyrion

Yeah I played Morrowind yesterday for eight hours straight easy. Skyrim is pretty cool, but while playing it after awhile I was just like damn I should fire up some Morrowind. It is always going to have a special place to me and I never even beat the game or most of the factions (yet).

The game is just so imaginative and the immersion is unparalleled. The locales are all just so great. Walking in the wilderness is so fantastic at least until the cliff racers swarm you ha

  • @notyoursavior78 I LOVED morrowind, but i was young and didnt understand the game, then a couple months ago, i played it an was like, OMG i love this game, i wish they would bring back the creatures from morrowind to skyrim or any other elderscrolls. Or atleast make a huge 5 disk set where you can roam all of tamriel! that would be any gamer dream!

  • @BiohazardWolfHound

Yeah I mostly played Morrowind when it came to the Xbox at least I had the GOTY edition. I honestly never had any real problems running the game, and didn't mind not having mods. When I got this better laptop and heard about the Graphics and Sounds Overhaul I just had to try it out so I got it cheap for PC. It is so fantastic like that too. Practically a new game.

I guess just what I am getting at is that Morrowind is one of the greatest locations I have ever seen...

  • Skyrim was fun but imo it lacked the atmosphere that Oblivion had

  • @catalog343 That was less of a game to game issue, and more of a world to world issue.

Cyrodiil had a lot more character in it than Skyrim did. Skyrim is mostly snow and ice, whereas Cyrodiil had several different climates that were distinct and beautiful.

  • @bloodshedder021

Skyrim has several differnt areas as well. Snowy, Tundra, Swampy, green pine woods, golden orange autumn forests, wastelands. It's not just ice and snow. All depends which corner of the map you're in.

  • @catalog343 Thank you!

  • Oblivion is my favourite, because it is the first I played.

  • And there are still people that say video games aren't art? The designs, the landscapes, and the MUSIC... My God, this music alone makes my heart swell.

  • i took a mace to the face an arrow to my left knee and a spear to my right ear

  • i used to be a "crier" like you, until i took a memory in the knee...

  • i'm not ashamed to say i cried oceans when hearing this..

    oblivion waz the best <3

  • I used to be a Morrowind music lover, then I took this music to my ears...

  • I was a hero like you, but then i took an arrow to the knee

  • just cleared skyrim... it was amazing did everything. now back to play a game i havnt touched in 4 years . cant wait

  • Listening to this song, my fingers have automatically put on the letters W, A, S, D. How much I love Oblivion and Soule's music...

  • @MrGvRii Lol. Do you ever think about what you are ACTUALLY doing when you play games? Its pretty funny, W, Mouse movement, S, W, A, Mouse movement. And you do it for 6 hours straight lol. Skyrim<3

  • @ProtoGrey

Who says video games don't help with hand and eye coordination... ;)

  • Favorite video game song evar

  • @Alvinacid Same here.

  • Oblivion wouldn't have been nearly as good without it's soundtrack.

  • One of the best parts of Oblivion is that people remember it as a life experience, not as a game.

  • ah the memories, well back to skyrim

  • @SupaNathan1 agreed, but have you heard the remix of Silt Sunrise from morrowind on Skyrim? It tends to play in Whiterun a lot. brought chills to my back when i recognized it...

  • 11.11.11

  • That moment when I came out of the sewers was burnt in my brain, that feeling of loneliness, awe, discovery and the music ... damn that was a great day.

  • BY THE NINE!!!!

  • @JoeyNSterlynRogers BY THE NINE! Reply: SKYRIM IN NINE DAYS!

  • @SuperEnergyAddict022 apparently its eight divines now cuz they outlawed talos for some reason

  • @jakascott21 o_o Blasphemy.

  • @SuperEnergyAddict022 i mean in elder scrolls V skyrim, i saw leaked 3 hours of gameplay and the charecter went to a preacher who was preaching about Talos i will PM you the link to it

  • @jakascott21 Thanks man. ^.^

You're now my new best friend. Deal with it. e_e

  • @jakascott21

From what I heard, Talos = Alduin, who actually turns out to be pretty evil in Skyrim. I mean, would YOU worship the thing that threatens to consume the world?

  • @mightyshockwave i thought it was akatosh at first, how do you know in the first place though? We wont know until skyrim is out

  • @mightyshockwave

It might be Akatosh, I forget. I don't know the pantheon by heart. I just remember reading somewhere that Alduin was the Nordic analogue to SOME god.

  • masterpiece of videogame music!

  • oh dear god the memories.. peacefully walking through the forest, when A RANDOM RAT ATTACKS!!! OH DEAR GOD!

  • @mattb5213 -punches the rat in the face- I've fought mudcrabs more fierce th- oh wait never mind that doesn't fit.

  • more oblivion

  • It makes me feel old to hear people refer to Oblivion as "old"

  • @Pwillig ^_^ yup... i started with morrowind in 2003, kinda do envy the people who started with arena already and enjoyed daggerfall when those were new

  • @Pwillig Indeed. It's hard to believe that such a beautiful game was released as far back as 2006. o_O

  • The image fits the song quite well :)

  • @thevengance Well isn't that the sights you normally see in the wilderness?

  • Ah my favorite Jeremy Soule track next to Caprice.

  • @FadedArbiter

Yeah thats true i think while you heare that music you will think about that moments automatically

and i also played Guild Wars (you are totally right :D)

  • eargasm, definitely

  • When the melody at 00:28 kicks in and your looking at plants... it occurs to you that real life sucks sometimes.

  • @BeardedPriest ur true! sometimes it does happen. But sometimes their are amazing times. From small things to huge things :P

    peace

  • Oh man. I hear everyone who talks about memories. When I was about 12 I started playing Guild Wars (for which Jeremy Soule also composed the soundtrack). Every time I hear the music of that game, I immediately feel nostalgic. Same with this track! Soule has a tendency to do that :P

  • At 02:00 it is incredibly hard to do anything other than just freeze and listen. Goosebumps!

  • magnifique comme le jeu

  • I've never played this game, or most of the games Jeremy Soule composes for for that matter, but his music has a very nostalgic property that makes it so personal.

  • @StopTheMoti0n i know you posted this a while back but seriously go get hold of oblivion. You wont play a better fantasy! or RPG for that matter :P

  • brings me back to when i first played oblivion, i raced through the first quests in those filthy dugeons to finally come outside, i could almost feel the wind, almost touch the sky and trees i looked to the mountains hearing this music........ aaaah the memories.....

  • @SimonVenin i felt the exact same way...

  • /me cries

    OHHH! OLD MEMORIES!
