@kelvinpyaeko NOT TRUE! Regine has proved many times that she has a balanced registers- a COMPLETE SINGER. Any musicians would deliberately know that Regine is an extraordinary vocal artist. Her control of high notes is just a result of a well mastered technique and proper breathing. Its something that ONLY fools and haters would readily deny, thinking that high notes is natural or can easily be accessed without good technique.

@kelvinpyaeko For common reference do you think Regine ALWAYS BELT SONGS? Because in my opinion she belts less than many of you want to believe. Her strength is NOT REALLY her high notes. But the many things one has to do before doing it. Saying that her covers are NOT DECENT and her technique is NOT that GOOD is the height of hypocrisy unless you can prove that she messed up with more than 5% of the total notes she sang LIVE. Technically, she's 99.99% accurate. Curious, in what way she's not?

@kelvinpyaeko How can it be so when her covers more or less differ in interpretation and technique. Like when Regine sings an Aerosmith, a Mariah, a Whitney, a Manilow, a Canseco, etc. There is MORE power, yes, but you can see how she's managing all of it in terms of weight, overtones/textures and register adjustments.

Anyway, she has a few no. of C6 for you to provide such a hasty conclusion. But, Regine has hundreds of 5th octave notes that she undeniably sang live with perfection.

@kelvinpyaeko I see that you are a hater. Spreading bad comments to downplay Regine's talent one video to another. Keep denying, sir! But any one with good ears and is knowledgeable of voice will at least NOT DISCOUNT Regine's singing ability even if they don't like her tone. Sayonara!

regine said it all with all honesty...she only uses her natural voice to hit the high notes, rarely uses falsetto nor whistle...partida pa nya yan sa lahat ng mga singers...yung iba from natural voice eh tumatakas sa mga matataas na part ng song and uses falsetto and whistle para ma-hit lang ang high notes...songbird's natural voice alone can hit the highest of the high notes effortlessly...regine got no range,coz she got no bounderies and her vocal power is limitless...hale regine velasquez...

agree!! may matataas nga boses kung san san nman napupunta, tsaka 22o din xbi nia yung cnasabi nilang whistle o headtone mas mataas nga nman yung chest ni regine.. at mas nkakatakot pag more chest ang gamit sa highnotes... kc mas may tendency di maabot yung tamang nota.. yung iba nag shishift na sa F5 and G5 by doing falsetto xa hinde.. kaya nyang i belt out ng chest ang G5 A5 at B5 Bb5 ng solid kh8 wlang headtone mixed. xa lang yun! at ang mgling n singer nkakakanta ng malat. xa lng din yun...

Kapag me iba na nag-aalala kapag di chesty ang mga atake ni songbird lagi kong sinsabi mas alam ni RV na ang ginagawa niya. LOL! She has to keep her voice healthy lalo pa't 40 na siya next year. Kailangan laging balanse ang registers niya. Dati its obvious na less developed ang headtone pero ngayon parang strong as her chest na rin.

at mahalaga ring na-point out ni regine ay hindi lang basta hit ng hit ng highnotes ang sukatan ng magaling na singer. yung iba kasing singer birit lang ng birit pero all over the place na ang notes. in other words, nagkakalat kasi hindi kayang i-control ang voice. ang mas importante pa rin daw ay ang MALINIS kumanta. at dyan namumukod-tangi si regine. whether singing soft tones or belting highnotes, sobrang ayos at linis pa rin ng rendition ni songbird. good point, regine!

minsan man lang ay makapagyabang ang Lola mo haha! I really love the fact that she knows her voice well. And she's really doing something to improve her voice.

And she doesnt want to limit herself by saying that this is her vocal range. Instead, she keeps practicing by singing notes that she finds hard to access. It's the best thing to do nga naman. How high kaya ang natural voice niya? Mr C played F5/G5 when he talked about Regine's break from many years ago. Others said she can go A5-natural!

So true. She's such a gutsy singer. The risks she takes when she sings those high notes, it's only her I've seen them do those and at the same time, the singing is still beautiful and flawless. Others might be gutsy but lack the skills to control their voice. And I agree, flawless singing is paramount over high notes! With Regine, you can take away her high notes and her singing is still incredible because of it's technical cleanliness and beautiful emotive quality.
