Ah, great premise for this song, and great verses. The chorus is a tad awkward with the beat, but the guitar lead is really good. This is definitely a great song.

Thanks for the share Ron. I love this song. I respectably disagree with you about the guitar parts here too - I think it sounds fantastic, the guitar seems to sing along and it suits the feel of this song quite well.

I can just picture someone like Paul Simon having a hit with this one. The lyrics just seem to flow and I can picture African drums and harmonies in there.. something like that ya know? Great song here.

Awesome, Ron. Love the overly present percussion and the lead prior to each verse. Fabulous bass line.

What is that at the end of each verse line? At first I thought it was a cymbal, but it sounds like it might be a guitar chord with some wierd effect on it.

If you have the ability to punch back in on this one, a harmony or counter vocal on the final repeated chorus would sound lovely. Maybe even both. ;-)

I also like how you bring the lead in on the final chorus.

Dark lyrics and an upbeat pop/rock sound, but with a very fitting sound that seems like a cross between a cymbal and an electric guitar. What is it? It's wonderful. For a fan of Spike this is another treasure.
