  • That was just awsome. Pure Vince Gill but what a tribute. Anth toe tone WOW. You still know it's Vince but you can hear him jamming along to the brothers like he was a kid in his room at home......I know that feeling of jamming with the brothers too but I'm no Vince Gill....awesome just awsome.

I saw a little article about this event in the latest issue of Vintage Guitar magazine and was hoping something was available here. I loved everything about this vid.

  • What a joy to hear Duane's guitar singing again. Wish the other songs he played were here on YouTube too.

  • What an incredible sounding guitar, and who better than Vince to coax out the melodies of that sweet Gibson hardtop. Also, I can see why Little Walter (Tube Amps) has gotten such a stellar rep. The amp sounds fantastic.

  • have you got the other songs Vince played on the Duane LP? PLEASE post, thanks! :-)

  • @ichisatori - sorry, I only filmed the one song. I wanted to enjoy myself fully for the others....

  • Somethings are just meant to be! Vince musta been giddy. Thanks Vince and Big House for allowing this to happen. I'm sure you know what it means to us "listeners".

  • Vince has such a distinctive style and sound, but I swear that sounded like Duane playing a Vince Gill song.

  • Wow.

  • "It was a spiritual experience for me" To say the least!

  • Incredible Yea I got the chills too, cannot believe the guitar has a soul,

    Thanks Vince!

  • Does anyone know what song Vince played after Adriana?

  • @bigdaveonbass At about 6:44 It's Blues Sky to 7:04 thru 7:20 is Jessica two of my favorite Allman Bros tunes.

  • @bigdaveonbass : "Go Rest High" and then "Slippin'"

  • Chills man,chills

  • Nice Blue Sky and Jessica teases in there. Vince is as good as they come on guitar.

  • @bigdaveonbass teases = quotes, quoting.

  • The story behind the song: Vince wrote this for a young girl, Adriana; who was killed in a senseless gang initiation by two young murderers who didn't know her at all. She was walking out of a grocery store with her mother in Nashville.
